Has helped me, purchased from Amazon several times, here's how I use it.
GREAT overall appetite helper. I've been using this exact product that I bought through AMAZON several times. How best does it work for me? I take 2 - 3 caps with at least 8 ounces of fluid (water is best, take up to 3 per day). I found it works GREAT with a HOT cup of broth or tea after I take it. I take it so I don't overeat at mealtimes. Helps me feel a bit like I've already ate just before, so it doesn't take a lot to help me feel fuller faster. I've lost 48 pounds so far, and this has helped me with my overeating habits if I get too hungry before I eat. You have to get used to taking them PRIOR to eating a meal (like 30 min to an hour before) to help you not overeat.TIPS that I find useful for ME to get the most out of this are below:* Take 1 - 3 caps, 30 min to 1 hour PRIOR to eating a meal (ONCE DAILY). Take with water or whatever.* After you've swallowed the caps with at least 8 oz of water, sip on a cup of hot broth, hot herbal tea while your getting ready, cooking a meal, or reading a book or watching TV until dinner is done.* DO NOT OVEREAT, at this point if you've done as I do, you should feel like you have something already in your stomach, eat sensibly and healthy* Yes, this will cause a more softer bowel movement with regular use, but it also helps my irregular constipation I have as well. It will NOT cause "embarrassing accidents", and my tummy got used to it quickly. I do have a tad of extra gas from time to time with these, but that is normal and not so bad I stop taking them.

Noticeably helps with appetite
I was looking for a "natural" appetite suppressant. During my search, I came across these. Some reviews states they followed the directions and suffered severe cramping. So I started different. I took one capsule 30-45 min before I'd eat. Althoug it seemed to help, I was hoping for better results. So after about 4 days, I upped my dose to 2 capsules 30-45 min before every meal. This was noticeably more effective. Normally at work, I will have an oatmeal, maybe a fruit roll up, my applesauce cup I brought for lunch and some candy if I can get my hands on some. Then I'm starving for lunch within 3 or 4 hours. With this, I take 2, sip on a made at home protein smoothie, And when lunch rolls around, I take 2 more capsules and eat lunch, even if I'm not realy hungry. Mostly because at work I'm on a schedule and immediately after work I go to the gym. Well, if I don't eat during my lunch break, I'm starving by the time I get to the gym. When I'm at home I have a little more freedom as to when I eat and will often have a late breakfast, late lunch and usually something really small for dinner (because I'm just not hungry). The only thing I feel this lacks is a boost of energy. I don't mean the jitters, but just some energy. I get nothing from it. But why would I? It's a fiber supplement. For the price, I highly recommend. It's pledge week at my gym and I just pledged to lose 9 lbs by the end of March(almost 5 weeks). I'm very new to the whole diet and workout thing so I'm hoping this supplement will help me reach my goal!!! So far, I really like it's ability to help me eat less and stay full longer.

For lowering cholesterol review.
This review is for using this product for improving cholesterol #'s. This is just one of the products I used.I've had mixed results with cholesterol lowering supplements and I have done a lot of research on them in the hopes of avoiding going on a statin. I've taken cholesterol supplements and had my cholesterol go down. I've not taken them and had my cholesterol go up. I've also taken them and seen no change. That being said it is definitely worth a try if you want to improve your lipids and avoid a statin.I was taking this in conjunction with other supplements, all that have some scientific research proving they work. I did see improvements in my lipid panels when I took various supplements but was never able to tell what was helping the most. When I didn't take the supplements my #'s would go up, but lately despite taking all of these supplements my #'s were high and I'm now on a statin and not taking any of them anymore. If you are concerned about your cholesterol I would strongly suggest talking to your Dr about a Coronary Calcium Scan as taking supplements can get fairly expensive. After my last lipid panel results came back elevated I went for the scan and my Dr and I decided to go on a statin instead of spending $750-$1000/year on supplements. For the record my CC Scan cost $100, most insurance will not cover it, but it was the best $100 I have ever spent on health care. For the record I had the best test results when taking the following supplements each day:Flax Oil 2 x 1000mgKrill Oil 2 x 1000mg (fish worked too but I hated the after taste, none of that with krill)TR Niacin 3 x 500mgSytrinol 2 x 150mgCoQ 10 1 x 100mgPantethine 3 x 450mgPlant Sterols 3 x 800mgGlucomannan 3 x 1150mgThese were all spaced out AM, Lunch, PM.Comparing my worst and best lipid #'s from blood tests from a lab, these supplements did the following:Total - Lowered 60 points - 22%Bad - Lowered 53 points - 27%Good - Increased 15 points - 22%Tri-G's - Lowered 37 points - 25%Good to Tri-G Ratio - Worst was 2.62, while on all these went as low as 1.75 (Harvard Med study lists this as possibly the best predictor of heart attack risk). Ideal is below 2.It should be noted that I rarely eat any meat other than fish/shell fish...rarely eat egg yolks...and have a fairly healthy diet...mainly my lipid issues are genetic.
