Great quality laptop for gaming or video rendering.
Bought this for my son for college. He needed something with a little more power since he will be rendering videos and such for his major. He of course also plays games on it as well. He hasn't had any issues with gaming or video production on it so far and has had it for about a year now. The design must be nice since je brings it to classes so he carries it across campus and hasn't broken it yet (or he is just taking good care of it). It does not have issues connecting to Bluetooth or wifi. Over all I am impressed with the quality.

so far good
it has been good i can get 3d work created and on the side play some games and save electricity. but had a huge scare a week ago were the video card was said to be disconnected and not working :( but but there was an application were because it was set to eco mode that caused the issue so putting it on performance instead fixed it... too scary cause im broke after getting this computer for working on game development having a bad card that would be painful lose

Great bang for the buck
This laptop was not cutting edge when I purchased it, but it was only a few generations from the ones that were. For the cost savings, I have zero complaints regarding performance. It's a little janky in the way the video cards work (One is onboard and the other is an Nvidia discrete card). The benefit from that config is the ability to use the laptop for non-gaming functions without burning through the battery. In this way the laptop can double as both productivity and entertainment. Current games run at 30-90 FPS depending on the resolution I choose more so than the graphic quality settings. I can run full quality at full HD with great frame rates with DLSS, but if I crank the display to 2K+, I'll dip into the high 30's (Helldivers 2 for this reference). This review will be dated in a year from now, but this is point in time feedback.

Good for schoolwork
I got this laptop for college and it has been really awesome. I’ve gamed a bit on it. I played classic world of Warcraft and the only issues I had was when I had the graphic settings at full. I turned them down and after that never had an issue. The only reason for 4 stars is because when I was using a mouse the sensitivity would change randomly. Now that I think of that it’s not a good issue to have lol. But I haven’t played any games in months and only use it for college and it’s been great.

in the best price and in the specs
Excellent Value & Performance During DiscountsThis laptop is an incredible deal, especially during discount periods. The price, considering the features it offers, is truly exceptional and stands out in its class. Performance-wise, it handles both day-to-day tasks and more demanding applications smoothly.i bought this laptop with the expectation of using it as a tool in learning 3d animation and gaming it performs very well in gaming and 3d modeling, the screen is just enough to use but can be improved.Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable laptop that packs a lot of power and versatility, and you want to get it at a fantastic price, definitely consider grabbing it at a discount. This laptop delivers excellent value for money and is a top choice in its range.

Terrible company
I am a college student and this laptop worked well for the first few weeks of college. I never dropped or tried to damage it in any way but one day I noticed some minor magenta spots in the screen. I tried to troubleshoot and fix it but I am convinced that it is a physical damage. I decided to take advantage of the warranty and called to make sure i can take it into a shop and how I would apply it. But the service team took 5 minutes to connect me in the first place and another 10 to get basic information down. They were no help whatsoever. The online chat system was easier than talking to that brain dead woman on the phone. They Informed me that the warranty only applied to says manufacturer repairs which was not disclosed in the warranty so the only way to get it fixed apparently is to ship it into them and do a full factory system reset. Ridiculous right? I can’t simply take it into a Best Buy (where they sell this laptop in the first place) and get it repaired under warranty. The customer service team is terrible and honestly the laptop has a weak screen so jtd not a very good device either. The customer service team here might as well be some newborn babies with their common sense and conversation awareness. Terrible product, terrible company, terrible service

Okay product if you have a mouse, definitely not a good gift
The laptop itself is okay for gaming, but the touchpad is total garbage.About half of the times it won't detect your finger.Sometimes you need to swipe 5 times before it knows you're touching it.If you have an external mouse this laptop will be an okay option.I don't mind buying it for myself but if this was a gift I will be so pissed. The cooling system doesn't seem to be very powerful, I have to put a small fan to help cooling it down. But I am not very experienced with gaming laptops.

4 months old and sent in for repairs
I bought this computer for my oldest child who is away at school. Since purchasing this laptop we've had a few issues.First issue started with in a week of receiving the device, this started with the monitor not powering on when the laptop powered up. Contacted ASUS support for help. First CSR disconnected from us without assisting in fixing the issue. The second CSR was magnificent and helped us get everything at that timr under control and working.Second issue is the machine just won't power up at all. This started in December. Went through ASUS Customer Support and did all their Tier 1 prompts for troubleshooting the device not powering on. CSR determined after going through everything that it had to be sent in for repairs. This seems to be a reaally common issue with the A15 laptop across the multiple years they hsve produced it.Personally at this point if someone is looking for a laptop and asked me if i would recommend it, i would recommend looking at another laptop.
