One of the best fans I've ever used
My kids will say I have an obsession with fans. I can't see being uncomfortable by staying hot, nor can i see running the air conditioner when fans will suffice. By running fans, and keeping shades closed, i can delay starting the air conditioners by nearly 2 months. I have always been happy (enough) with the usual run of the mill L@$&O fans. They have always lasted many years, I'm still using a L@$&O fan that I purchased over 10 yrs ago, its currently circularing air in my stagnant basement. They have always created adequate breeze, it's just they're so darn BIG! And even better, their price was always on point! I mean, it's just a fan, right? I wanted to see if the "you get what you pay for" rang true with fans...I should tell you right off, I am not a brand snob. I refuse to throw my money to the highest bidder without at least giving the competition (ie: cheaper) a fair try.I have a small living space and needed a really good fan that didn't take up half of my living space. I purchased 4 fans, this DREO being one of them. 2 of them being from a very well known, pricey manufacturer. And the last one from another known company, just not as pricey as the one I got the 2 fans from.I used each one in the same spot, the same time frame, ect. This spring, its been unseasonably chilly here in my neck of 'Merica. Due to this, i can't give a truly accurate review based on even one hot/humid day because we haven't had any yet. That being said, I am submitting my initial review, and will come back to update how well it works when/if we finally do get spring-like weather. It might just go right into summer as we've had in prior years. Since I plan on using this to try and help move cold air from my one window ac unit to the other end of my place, my update will also include how well that was achieved. This DREO Fan, I couldn't put past "5" on the speed, I found myself reaching for my heavy comforter at 5 or above it got so cold in my bedroom. Where as 2 of the others didn't cut it turned all the way up, meaning I could barely feel any air. The last one of the 4, while it did provide more than adequate air, it did not oscillate. This doesn't work for me as my sinuses get too dried out with air constantly blowing in my face. This was my fault for not reading the entire description. I just hadn't encountered a pedestal fan that did not oscillate, only box type fans. The only thing I wish this fan had, was another 8"-12" higher. It is not a deal breaker though. I have not thoroughly played around with both oscillating functions yet, (up, down and side to side) just the usual side to side so far. I can say it works as it's supposed to. As stated, my living space is quite small. This fan is approx 3 feet from the foot of my bed, so maybe 8-9ft from where my head is. I usually keep it on level "5" and that's plenty high for me at present. Not that I use the remote much, the times that I have, it has never given me a problem such as not being within range, or any issues some people said to have encountered. The DREO fan is also lightweight, but at the same time having a stable, just weighted enough base, to keep it from falling over. Because of my limited living space, this fan gets moved at least once per day, as I have it in front of my clothes dresser. I have several physical issues, including 3 herniated disc's in my neck. C3, C4, & C5. My Dr's recommend not trying to pick up anything heavier than a gallon of milk. Which I have tried, and failed at in the past. Cleaning up an entire gallon of milk because you thought you knew better than your Dr's, was a lesson I only needed to be taught once. The small, but mighty base helps me "drive" the fan away from my dresser, so I can get my clothes for the day, then "drive" it back.I have suggested this fan to my daughter and sil. They recently bought a mini farm, complete with a farmhouse built in 1797. It had been semi updated over the years, but not recently, or seem to have been concentrated on temperature comfort. I think this would help them move the heat from their only source of heat, the pellet stove in the kitchen/living area to other areas of the house.I will keep recommending this fan. I have also put this exact same fan in my cart again, if I can get it the same price, or cheaper from what I paid originally, I will buy another in the event something happens to my current one.I can't imagine many people not being happy with this purchase. I wish I would have found this DREO fan years ago! If for some reason you don't like it, or it doesn't measure up to your specifications, Amazon makes the return process so easy!

One amazing Fan š
Iāve been using the **Dreo PolyFan 502** for a few weeks now, and I have to sayāitās one of the best standing fans Iāve owned. But is it perfect? Hereās my **real-world experience**, including what I love and a few minor gripes.#### **ā What I LOVE:****1. Super Quiet (Like, Really Quiet)**- On the lower speeds, this fan is **almost silent**āperfect for light sleepers. Even at max speed, itās way quieter than my old box fan. The **DC motor** makes a huge difference.**2. Wide, Customizable Cooling**- The **120° + 120° oscillation** is a game-changer. Most fans only swing side-to-side, but this one **covers way more area**, so no more hot spots in the room.**3. Super Adjustable**- I love that I can **change the height** (from 32.7" to 42.5") depending on whether Iām on the couch or at my desk. The tilt head also lets me angle airflow exactly where I want it.**4. Remote Control is Handy (Butā¦)**- Being able to adjust speed, modes, and timer **without getting up** is great. The remote is simple, though I wish it had a **magnetic storage spot** on the fan itself (I keep misplacing it).**5. Energy Efficient**- Compared to my old AC fan, this one **uses way less power** but still moves a ton of air. My electric bill hasnāt spiked even with nightly use.#### **ā What Could Be Better:****1. The Base is a Bit Light**- While stable, the fan **can wobble slightly** at max speed if nudged. Itās not a dealbreaker, but Iād prefer a heavier base for total steadiness.**2. Sleep Mode Could Be Slower**- The **lowest setting is still a bit breezy** for me when sleepingāI wish there was an **ultra-low "night mode"** for super-sensitive sleepers.**3. No Smart Features**- Itās not a dealbreaker, but Iād love **Wi-Fi/app control** (like some pricier fans). The remote works fine, but phone control would be a nice upgrade.#### **Final Verdict: 9/10 ā A Fantastic Fan for the Price**If you want a **quiet, powerful, and adjustable** fan that wonāt break the bank, the **Dreo PolyFan 502** is a **great pick**. Itās not *perfect* (Iād love a heavier base and slower sleep mode), but for **under $100**, itās way better than most budget fans.**Bottom Line:** For the price, this fan **delivers way more than expected**. Iād buy it again!!!

RUN TO BUY THIS!
My absolute favorite fan! I got one for myself a while back and love the convenience and power of this fan. Last Christmas I got one for my dad too! Most days heās confined to his recliner and Mom likes the house (in Florida) on the warmer side. This way, he can either use the remote, his phone or just ask Alexa to turn on the fan! I put mine on turbo each night by saying āAlexa, itās turbo time!ā (I love Christmas IYKYK) and yes it as white noise. Itās also so small and so powerful that I donāt need to set my AC to 68 in the Orlando summer!
