Works a treat
This is excellent very simple to use and very effective brings our main bedroom down from 26 degrees to 19 easily / farm house cottage south facing smallish room it is quite loud even on the sleep function but taking the heat out of the room for a few hours before bed really helps get to sleepIt’s quite heavy but the build quality is really good

Works really well but very loud
We decided to invest in air con as we work from home and summers are getting hotter and hotter. This unit was in our living room which is quite open plan with the dining room and open stairs. It cooled down the living room, but didn't extend to upstairs or the adjoining kitchen. However, it didn't just cool down the room a little - it actually made it feel cool and very comfortable, even during the highest temperature heatwaves. We even had family visit just to cool down during the heatwaves of the summer. The only problem is that it is very loud, I'd say about 75% of the volume of a hoover, so when you have it running for a long time it's very noisy, and you can't have it on near to you while taking work calls, chatting with guests or watching TV. It's very big and the hose and the window fitting are also very ugly but there are ways around that. It's user friendly and really helped us survive the summer as a family who are very sensitive to heat.

Worth every penny for a cool home
Have had a Meaco Cool MC10000 unit for 4 years now and it still works brilliant but I needed a unit for the attic bedroom that reaches up to 40c on hot days & sleeping is impossible. I bought the 16000 unit as wanted the most powerful & I’m so glad I did it was the most expensive but worth every single penny and top quality. This unit is stunning! The hosing is extremely strong and sturdy & very easy to connect to the unit.Yesterday we had 33c weather & the attic room was 42c. This unit had the room cooled down within 20 mins to a cool comfortable 20c. It has an oscillating fan that helps circulate the whole room. On the lowest setting of 16c it actually measured as 9c on a thermometer.Noise wise it’s no louder than a normal fan on full speed. On hot nights I didn’t use the sleep mode I just set it to 19/20c on a low speed (it has 3) and slept like a baby. The features are very simple to use & comes with a remote control. I don’t used the WiFi feature but it is very easy to set up if needed. It comes with 2 types of fittings for windows but I had to make up my own setting using the plastic slat as I have velux windows and it worked well. This unit won’t be used much but for the days where it is roasting hot it is so worth it. Summer 2025 has had a lot of hot days and more to come but this unit has left us all feeling cool & calm. The cats have greatly appreciated it.When using the unit keep windows closed and place a bowl of water in the room to help with moisture as air con can be drying on your throat. All in all can not recommend this product enough

Works well, but noisy.
Cools the room down quickly, but the fan is very noisy, even on the slower fan setting. You wouldn't want to try to watch TV with it on ....Not sure how they can describe this as "low noise".As a means of cooling a room down when the weather is extreme though it does work well. The best option seems to be to set it to cool down to a little lower then required and then switch off for a while. Why didn't they set it up to automatically switch the fan off when it reaches a preset temperature?? The compressor does switch off, but most of the noise comes from the fan.

Excellent air conditioner and delivery
I purchased the MeacoCool pro series 14,000 BTU. Excellent service! Purchased on the evening of Saturday afternoon and received via DPD at 10am on Sunday. Expected delivery was supposed to be Monday so couldn’t ask for more. The air conditioner works very well and cooled down my 4 year old’s bedroom to 20 degrees from 28 within an hour. It comes with various window kits. I have sash windows and an extension plate is also included. It is heavy but easy to move on its casters. If needed to take up stairs, I would recommend two people doing it. I managed to lift the unpacked box upstairs but mostly one step at a time and I go to the gym. All in readiness for tomorrow which is supposed to be the hottest day in June (33 degrees). I should have purchased an air conditioner years ago but listened to my wife, but this time didn’t and we are both happy!

Air Con Unit
Nice, well built unit that did a very effective job of cooling our lounge during the recent heat wave. Certainly not "whisper quiet ' as described and is too heavy to be moved up and down stairs all the time. Would be nice if you could vary the fan speed a little more. You can only set the fan to high and low and low does not seem to be much different to high.

Not suitable for a home
We originally ordered the 7,000 series which was a bit loud but otherwise acceptable but lacked power to fully cool the space. We decided to return this and try the 12,000. The 12,000 despite being considerably more powerful, heavier, louder and expensive, did very little other than blast a deafing sound across the house to the point that it woke up the baby in a separate room. Put in for a return and refund immediately and cancelled my refund on the 7,000 which is a workable solution. The 7,000 is just about barable at around 60db but the 12,000 was kicking out 87db. I'm not sure how this product would ever be considered suitable to run at home, or anywhere for that matter.
