Perfect for Activewear – Keeps Clothes Fresh and Clean!
I recently started using Dylon Sport Detergent, and it has made a huge difference in keeping my activewear fresh and clean. Regular detergents don’t always remove sweat and odors from sports fabrics, but this one deep cleans while maintaining breathability and elasticity. After just a few washes, I noticed my gym clothes felt fresher, smelled great, and retained their shape better. It’s specially designed for activewear, and it really helps renew technical fabrics without damaging them. The formula works effectively, and optimal results are visible within 10 washes.Another plus is that it’s gentle yet powerful—it doesn’t leave behind any residue or overpowering scent, just a clean, fresh feel. If you wear sportswear regularly and want to keep it in top condition, this detergent is a must-have!Highly recommend for anyone with an active lifestyle!

Impressed. Amazing results and lovely scent
Used for the first time today and the scent is gorgeous, mild hints of floral with sophisticated spice is the best way I can describe it. not sweet and not overpowering, really unique and fresh. and my clothes were super clean, soft and vibrant on 30 degree wash. Will buy again during another promotional sale. definitely recommend that you give this a try. I keep sniffing the cushion I washed as it smells incredible!

Dylon wash - black
Easy to use, plwasan smell, washes clothes well. Haven't use long enough to comment on effectiveness yes so will reserve judgement. Seems to be a good quality liquid wash.

So glad they finally started selling this here
These Dylon detergents are, according to Henkel in an article on a grocery industry website, just rebranded versions of their Persil and similarly named detergents sold in Europe and The Middle East. They obviously can't use a name that sounds remotely anything like Persil in the UK, due to Unilever holding the trademark since 1931 here. Having used this in Spain last year labelled as Henkel's Perlan [Spanish Persil] brand I can confirm it is indeed exactly the same product. It also appears to be the same as Henkel's Persil abaya shampoo sold in the Middle East, though sadly this Dylon version isn't also available in Oud fragrance (they are missing a trick there). This works as claimed, though I would say that the Woolite equivalent has a slight edge for most black clothes as it can turn some cheaper black clothes which aren't quite truly black, jet black. Then again the Woolite one has an awful smell and works out as very expensive, also the Woolite one has small amounts of indigo purple dye in which can turn some synthetic black fabrics a weird shade of navy over time. So this Dylon detergent is a safer option as it doesn't appear to contain any dye and it smells much nicer too which is a bonus.Edited to update: this formulation appears to have been updated since when I used it last year and is now slightly purple so it may have dye or pigment added, so it does restore clothes to jet black and makes cheaper not quite black, black clothes truly black as well. I will see if over time it makes them blueish, but so far it hasn't. It also smells really nice and you really do only need to use the dosage specified on the bottle for it to wash well, unlike so many other detergents these days.

Brilliant on Sportswear and Trainers
Used the Sportwear liquid in the green bottle to wash a pair of white and light pink barefoot trainers. Soaked them in a hand hot solution for 2 hours and then hung outside to dry. Came up brilliantly. They look almost as good as when I bought them. I have used the Dark Colour liquid which I have already reviewed. This Sportswear liquid gives just as good a result and I would definitely recommend it. My shoes are clean and smell lovely. The insoles cane up well too.

Actually works as intended to darken and revive
I have a couple of pairs of jeans (one blue and one mid/light grey). Felt id like both to be darker so I washed the 3 times back to back and I can actually really tell the difference in how dark they are.

Misleading dosage
I use this mainly for jeans and jumpers/sweatshirts and whilst the cleaning is ok, I havn't noticed any 'revitalisation' effect yet.My frustration is with the dosage quoted. 30 washes, as quoted on a 1500ml bottle, is only for hand washing, or machine loads of 2-3 kilos, soft/med water and LIGHT soiling. A more usual load of 4-5 kilos, normal soiling, soft/med water requires a staggering 135mls ! This equates to only ELEVEN loads per 1.5 litre bottle. Even a 3/4 kilo load, normal soiling uses 105ml, giving just over 14 loads. A long way from the 30 washes quoted. I've looked at other detergent bottles I have and they ALL use a 4/5 kilo load as a standard load size to quote their usage rate. This appears to me to be another case of manufacturers increasing their prices by stealth. We've all witnessed recently the shinkage of items in size or weight but not price. When liquid detergent was introduced we were told it was more concentrated than powder and so we needed to use less. Not in this case. In my opinion to quote this as a 30 wash load size is blatantly misleading as it does not apply to a standard load.

£8 for 60 wash XL bottle in ‘Savers’
Good product providing you stick to the dosage recommendations. Just recently found out it’s a lot cheaper elsewhere though. It’s £8 for an XL bottle 60 washes in ‘Savers’ rather than £7 for 30 washes here. That’s not a sale price either, that’s all the time so well worth getting it from there 👍🏻
