WiFiモジュールの代わりに接続した所、無事に2.5Gポートと認識されました。Windows11の標準ドライバで動作しましたが、念のため、Realtekのドライバに差し替えました。速度的にはどちらのドライバでも差がありませんでした。pcieの高速なポートが利用出来ればもう少し転送速度が出るかなと思われます。

The electronics work as expected, and I now have an additional 4x 2.5GbE ports. That's good. The problem wasn't worth the electronics, but the physical manufacture. When pushed in all the way into the PCI socket, there was a 2mm gap between the back edge and the case (where it screws in). I had to bend the metal bracket with pliers to get it screwed in and stable, which is not a great indicator is quality control. Physical issues aside, Windows detected the product without issue, and it seems to be working fine so far.

ASRock J4205-ITX のWi-Fi用のM.2スロットで利用することができました。

商品説明にもある通りIBMチップですので、esxiなど一部の認識が面倒なニッチな用途に安くて手軽。今どきリアル店舗ではなかなか手に入らない

気に入らなかったこと1）MACアドレスが逆 本体添付のシールでMAC_1が～:dc、MAC_2が～:dd、ブラケットの記載が～AがMAC_2で～BがMAC_1になっている。この中華メーカの人は数字とアルファベットの順序認識できないらしい２）製品仕様の記載上PCI-E 2.0以上であれば問題ないはずだが、一部の古いチップセットで100Mbps動作になる。この中華メーカは正しく仕様をかけないらしい

ASRockのDeskMini X300にWi-Fiスロットが空いていたので購入しました。Wi-Fiスロットの上部にSSDがあるので搭載できるか心配でしたが、何とか干渉することなく取り付けることができました。当たり前のことですが、RJ-45側のポートを取付ける場所はありませんので不格好になります。ケーブルを真っ直ぐ伸ばしてても出口がないので、写真のように曲げる必要があります。USB増設用の穴からケーブルを取り出しているので、こちらを利用しているとケースを閉めた活用は難しいと思います。接続後は特に問題なく認識し、2500Mbpsでリンクアップしてくれました。
