Excellent product for price!
Love this headset! For work we use Skype to run all our calls and the headsets we’re given are big, clunky, uncomfortable and you have to use the headband with them, so I found this one that’s sits just on your ear (headbands come with, but you don’t have to use). The volume and sound is loud and clear. When I bought this it was recommending that I buy two additional pieces/adapters, but that’s not needed. I only bought the “TruVoice USB Adapter Cable with Volume.” This was needed to plug the headset into and then the adapter plugs into the laptop USB. It was cheaper to only buy the one and it still works. Overall the earpiece clip is very comfortable and sits well on the ear with zero-to no discomfort even if you wear it for a few hours. LOVE IT! Way better than the clunky headband ones that irritate and almost cause a headache because they use pressure to keep it on.

Comfortable to wear for long periods of time
I've always held Plantronics in high regard for their excellent design and sound quality. This model does not disappoint. I was a little surprised that the boom microphone was not flexible, however, that apparently doesn't matter. People on the other end can clearly hear my mumbling (which is probably bad) and don't hear me moving the boom up and down. The middle control panel is quite useful to be able to end the call, change volume, and mute myself. I do enjoy the mute button far away from the call disconnect button as well.Only issue, and a minor one, is that the cord is a little bit too short for me. I prefer to pace when talking, and the cord is just a shy too short to be able to stand and talk at the same time.

Absolute Trash Product; Misleading Description
It does not have a phone jack. Now, their misleading statement "Connects To: Desk phones and/or computer with separately purchased accessory" is to be taken literally; silly me, I read it as "Connects to desk phones" [because it's a headset for phones! They all have phone jacks!] and that the second part "and/or computer with separately purchased accessory" meant that to connect to a computer, an accessory was needed. Nope, they mean, 'start with this crappy device, and then buy others! just to make it do what it should have done initially!' This is an attempt at a hustle.I've worked in call centers and other customer service jobs for many years, and had a range ofgood <---> bad headsets, and this one is actually the worst I've ever tried. The short answer is, if you're reading this, you have been warned: This is not the headset you want to buy; you'll end up returning it.Thank goodness Amazon allows for easy returns, so Plantronics will not be getting to keep my money for tricking me into buying a crappy product. Shame on you, Plantronics. Just be honest in your description. Declare the length, or lack thereof, the cord. It has a very short cord! You will have to be very close to the phone to even use it, and 2/3 ways to wear it will not stay on - the only one that does is the classic uncomfortable one.The earpiece is tiny. The ear-only attachment will not stay on. The 'comfortable' neck attachment will not stay on. The classic headpiece will stay on but it is as crappy as cheap headsets. The cord is terribly, awfully, short. This is an abject failure. I couldn't me more disappointed. Even if the box had been empty; that would have been better. Maybe two small paper or plastic cups with a kite string connecting them; you know, that phone game we played as kids? Holding my hand up to my ear with pinky for mic and thumb for speaker is a better headset. I really could go on and on, and I've gone on and on because sadly, I ignored other negative reviews because I wanted the good ones to be true. I've been reminded why reviews on Amazon are so important, because we can help one another avoid bad purchases, and promote actual good products when appropriate.I really hope Plantronics reads this, and they start firing people in their design and marketing teams.Your name is besmirched. For shame, for shame...

Light as a feather, and the quality rivals the best of the Plantronics line of headsets (Plantronics sets the standard by which all others are measured - I started using Plantronics in 1982! and they have always had superior quality for call center headsets). I tried all three wearing styles and initially I am going to use the behind the head option. However I like the easy off and on of the over the ear style. I'll come back and update this review after a few weeks of use. Oh... the over the head option is great too. Maybe too many choices, but it is great to find them all in one product. This also gives you the freedom to buy a replacement head/neck/ear piece if it gets worn out which is much cheaper than buying a brand new headset. I love it and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a comfortable headset with Great quality. Remember you need to buy a separate cable for the phone or phone system you are connecting to. I bought one to work with my iPhone.(yes I use my iPhone in a call center setup!)

Adjustability is key
UPDATE, 2020-01-11: the over-ear clip broke. I’m le sad. Adjusted rating from 5-stars to 3 for durability concerns. (I had maybe 500 hours’ worth of use from it.Previous review: I haven't gotten a perfect setup, but part of my problem is that I can only tolerate a headset, even one this light, for a partial-shift in my spaceflight operations job. The great thing is that I can make some tweaks during the day to make it better. This is very easy to modify once you get a hang of what does and doesn't move.I'll tell you that every flight controller I work with that's looked at it has asked me where I got it and how much I paid for it. When a headset is an essential tool of what you do, you'll pay a premium.
