This product will make you GLOW.
This highlighter was just as I expected. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this, and I was in need of a nice, gold-toned highlighter, so I went ahead and ordered this. The packaging is beautiful, the box that it comes in matches the cover on the top. As seen, it has a matte silver compact, which in my opinion, is a good thickness so you know that you're getting a good amount of product, with a mirror that's useful for when you're applying the highlighter.I have light-to-tan skin, so I loved the color. If you are a darker shade, however, I would look into the other theBalm highlighters, like Cindy Lou or Betty Lou, because this is a highlighter you'd have to blend out because it is pretty light. What I love about the highlighter is that it is nicely pigmented. This is what I mean when I say this product will make you GLOW. I love this a lot, and the retail price is about $24, and the fact that it's a bit cheaper on Amazon is awesome. I got this for $19.99, and right now it's $15.99, which makes me a little bit sadder that I could have saved $4, but $16 or $20, this is definitely worth the price. I love the packaging, it's very sturdy, and this is now my go-to highlighter for everyday, and my old go-to highlighter was the ABH Glow Kit, so I hope that says a lot!

Loooveeee it
The Mary Loumanizer highlight is great, I love this stuff. I got it at the end of 2014 and it's still going strong, I think it might last forever. It is pretty shimmery, but still a highlight as opposed to a glitter or shimmer eyeshadow. It's definitely a noticeable highlight, it adds a nice glow if you use the right amount. I use it just about every time I do my makeup, during the summer especially. It's good for cheekbones, inner corner, nose, lids, cupids bow, etc. The color is a kind of champagne, more of a white yellow that looks good on light to medium skin. It's nice to have as an eyeshadow as well, I have semi hooded eyes (I still have a tiny bit of lid showing) and putting this on the lid part helps to brighten everything up! I think it's totally worth it and if I ever run out I'd definitely buy more.

Takes practice to apply, but can really up your makeup game
I went back and forth on whether to buy this product because, for me, twenty dollars for a highlighter is really expensive. I finally bit the bullet and bought the product. It arrived safe and sound - no cracks or loose crumbles of powder. When looking at the product in the package, I thought everyone was pulling my leg - it doesn't appear that shimmery! However, when you go to apply, you will notice this powder is intensely pigmented and shimmery. Don't get me wrong, it is perfect for what it is - a highlighter. However, I think you really need the right brushes to be able to apply this highlighter without lighting up like a disco ball. I purchased Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Collection specifically to use in applying the Mary-Lou Manizer and the large and small brushes have worked like a dream (I use the medium size for a highly pigmented blush). Just swirl the brush into the compact, blow loose particles off, and then swipe and swirl on the areas you want to highlight. Use a light hand with the Mary-Lou Manizer! If you do not, you'll wind up looking a lot more shimmery than you intend!

Got all three and love them.
I got all three "Manizer Sisters." I'm a "makeup enthusiast" but not a makeup artist. The breakdown:Mary Lou is a gold champagne. Very reflective and the most reflective of the group. Highly Pigmented, blends well. Very beautiful. From seeing it online, I think it would look best on very fair-medium-tan skin tones and might start to look ashy on darker skin tones. You can control the intensity by blending out less product on the cheeks (makes it sheerer) or using it wet (intense).Cindy Lou is a slightly dusty pinky peach. Less reflective and more of a satin sheen finish, the least reflective of the group. Blends well, very pretty, but also less pigmented than the rest, but still usable. More subtle. For light-medium skin tones in my opinion, but you may want to look up swatches on others yourself.Betty Lou is a warm bronze with golden undertones. Very pigmented and blends well. The second most reflective in the group, but when I blended it out as a bronzer on my light skintone, it didn't look muddy and was very beautiful if you like warm bronzers. It also didn't look like a highlighter as much when blended out well, which means it can work as both. This would be a great bronzer for light-tan skin tones, depending on how deep you are and how well you blend it out if you're lighter. It would also be a great highlighter for tan-deep skin tones.I have pictures of swatches with and without flash, and blended on my face over a light layer of foundation. On my face, Mary Lou is nearest my ear, Cindy Lou is in the middle, and Betty Lou is nearest my cheek. The colors don't show up the best, but the swatches should help clear things up.

This is like the O
This is like the O.G. of shimmery highlighters! You can't really tell from the product photo, but the actual color comes off as a very soft peachy pale gold when the light hits your face. I have very fair skin, and this still looks gorgeous on me, even though the photo looks like it has a warmer undertone. Honestly, everyone I know who wears this, it always looks gorgeous. Anyone can wear this color, regardless of skin tone. It gives a dewey look, but with a powder finish, which is great for people with oily skin. It also hasn't irritated my sensitive skin.I use it with a small tapered fluffy brush, and dust this on my cheeks VERY lightly. A little goes a long way. I'll also put this over a matte blush if I want some extra shimmer, use it to highlight the brow bone, or as an all-over subtle eyeshadow color. I can easily see this product lasting 2 years, which makes it well worth it's purchase price. Love it!
