Good way to take Vit D

It's very tricky sometimes to know which supplements to buy and how to sift through the candidates. Not only are there a dizzying plethora of companies, prices, dosages, etc, but the quality, ingredients and formulation can vary wildly. Every 3 months I get my blood tested for various things including vitamin D. The first test showed a deficiency in August 2021. That was with no supplementation in summer, so clearly going into winter I needed to supplement.The next test, in November 2021, was with Vitamin D supplements from Lidl. I wanted to test if cheap supplements actually work before spending more as my supplement stack was starting to become a decent monthly expense.There was no increase in my Vitamin D levels from Lidl supplements (this may have been balanced by less sunlight in winte, but negligible).I'd been buying lls supplements for a while and know the magnesium works (you can feel it), but they are more expensive so I needed to validate they work.I was tested again in February 2022 and my Vitamin D levels increased from 50 nmol/l to 71 nmol/l, around 40%. That was with no change to my daily exposure to sunlight.If you're going to swallow a white powder everyday for the test of your life, it's worth getting one that you know works.

This product, with Vitamin D3 and K2, is as good quality as you can expect, delivered by a reliable company. I based my initial purchase on other positive reviews and was not disappointed. Though I haven't had any lab tests to confirm its effectiveness, I feel overall healthier and no side-effects have been noticed. I particularly appreciate K2 being included, which is essential for bone health, a critical factor for me. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a boost in their nutrition.

This comes as powder in a capsule, i break open the capsule and add it to my morning drink (green powder drink or a vitamin c fizzy tablet drink) mixes easily and doesn't affect taste.I don't really know if i can see any noticeable difference from taking it but it seems to be an important supplement to take especially in the UK in the winter months when we are not getting enough vitamin d from the sun.I will buy it again for this reason and also because it is meant to be an important supplement for your teeth.Weston price talks about Vit D I believe and K2 as being very important for healthy teeth, and they work synergistically together. So good on LLS putting them together .

I didn’t realise until I recently listened to a Podcast that we cannot get our RDA of Vitamin D in the winter & autumn even if we are out in the ‘sometimes sun’. We should be taking at least 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day….. All that gazing into the sun in the winter months obviously hasn’t been helping over the years! Easy to swallow & veggie, which is great if you don’t want to be swallowing animal in your daily Vit D tablet! LLS has a great aftercare service & always on hand to answer any questionsThese are not the cheapest on Amazon but the ingredients are high grade & they have added K2 which works with D3 to make sure calcium is absorbed properly. LLS always produce a winner for me & I don’t go anywhere else for my Vits!100% recommend these
