Little Giant Cv-10 Check Valve

My old check valve broke and I was looking all over to try and find a new one. I had almost given up and figured I would have to order a whole new pump when I came across this one. Ordered it and installed it on my old Little Giant Condensate pump and it worked perfectly. It fit and makeup was exactly the same as the original one. Save me a lot of money.

This simply screws in to the pump where the old, broken one goes. No major surgery and takes literally seconds to install. The check valve works as it should and does not leak with the included new rubber o-ring. Simple, effective, what more could you want?

It saved me a service call and the propable expense of bying a new pump since the service company doesn't sell this item. The pump was functionning but not pumping any water. The service company confirmed to me that the valve can be blocked over time by deposits of some form. It took 13 years for this to happen to the valve I had. This item solved the problem of my little giant series pump. Very easy to replace.

Found a large puddle of water in my basement next to my Little Giant VCMA-15UI condensate pump. The check valve was stuck. My condensate pump was installed in such a manner that it would have required the PVC drain pipe from the AC unit to be cut. To get around this situation, I left the pump in place and filled the pump reservoir full with clean water and then sucked it dry with a wet/dry vac several times. Once the reservoir looked clean I installed the new CV-10 check valve. The pump has been operating perfectly for two months. No puddles of water. I plan to clean the reservoir annually.
