These pens Vegan? Animal product free?

Likely the plastic used to make the pen barrel & cap was ultimately petroleum-derived, which came from lots of dead squished dinosaurs. So no these pens aren't 100% vegan.

I want to know if they a worth it

Sakura makes the best inks on the market for artists, writers, card makers and scrapbookers. They have to be used quickly though, or they will dry up. Do not store them any way but flat or the ink does not flow as well. The Metallics in this set and the Dark set are the best. Some of the colors only work well on very dark paper. I have certain colors that I like and work the best for me... the blues, greens, pinks, reds and purples. I buy them individually from art suppliers once I know the colors I like and in boxes of 12. But this is a good price to try them out for your purposes.

Can I use these on light-colored paper?

Yes, they work very well on light colored paper.

Will these pens work for adult coloring books

I love using these pens for coloring books! In some of my coloring books with the thinner paper, it is visible on the other side of the paper, but it doesn’t bleed all the way through, if that makes sense.
