Really good stove paint, and coverage is excellent. Doesn't smell so no toxic fumes. Stove looks brand new and I still have half a can left to do it again when required

I love cooking on my BBQ, I don't just use it for traditional BBQ food in the summer, it is an extension to my kitchen and used throughout the year, weather permitting because there is no real indoor substitute for char grilling. I bought my BBQ in August 2015 following a trip to Oz which taught me that gas BBQing was just as good as charcoal and after its first season the burner covers started to deteriorate (rust) and spares weren't available and when I opened it up this year the covers had totally disintegrated so I decided to make some new ones but I also found that part of the oven structure itself was rusted away. Fortunately offcuts from the galvanised steel bought for the covers were OK for making repair parts for the oven so I cut the badly corroded metal away and wire brushed as much rust away as possible. I was left with what you see in photo 1. I wanted to kill the rust and protect from further corrosion and the Jenolite product read as ideal for my purpose. It covered the existing rust very well very easily and there was enough (just) to respray the whole oven interior and the drip tray as well, mine is a 6+1 BBQ and that's as big as it gets (photo 2). The only reason that I've given it 4* not 5 is that I don't know how well it will last, I have only used it 3 times since the refurb but it looks fine, I bought my BBQ for £210 in 2015 last one in sale end of season but a replacement now is £400-£500, the total cost of the refurb was less than £30 for metal and paint (but took me a week, not full time though), bargain! If it does this season (and hopefully another) I'll be very happy indeed, thinking of buying another can to treat the external corrosion on the oven.

Easy to use and great result

Superb coverage on rusty chiminea. A smooth matt finish after 2 thin coats were applied. We will see how it lasts in regular use but it has visually transformed the look of our garden heater,

Easy to apply, gives a great finish, you definitely need plenty of ventilation when applying.

I needed to refurbish some rusty oven door handles...this product seemed ideal. The first can was splotchy, the second can was ok. But even after using feather strokes, the coverage looked a bit patchy and also after drying the paint was quite powdery. So I had to buy a can of heat resistant spray lacquer for car paint to seal the powdery paint. Think this has worked and at least the rust seems to have been treated...looks ok but I think you need to be good at using spray paint to get an even coverage. I needed about 4-5 layers before it looked ok.

I’m not sure if the aerosol cans I received were out of date or not (couldn’t see a date on them) but I can’t get them to spray properly. I have been shaking one can for half an hour and even tried a bit of heat but it sprays so sporadic and when it does actually work it comes out almost clear (supposed to be black). Tried all 3 cans and they are all the same. I am very experienced in spray painting so I am sure it is the product. I have wasted so much time and money on this product so I definitely would not recommend to anyone else.
