Piece of cake
These are perfect and so easy to install. Measure and then cut to the next groove out and cut with a hacksaw. Wet the tip and use a screwdriver to pish into the hole. So easy a caveman could do it. Gas t Fedwx shipping.

Works for TJ with some modification
I was looking for an option for my TJ since I installed the Rough Country Spare Tire Space (part #1053) to accommodate 33x12.5x15 tires. I couldn’t find anything that was exactly what I needed to prevent the vibrating spare tire since the factory bump stops were too short now. I purchased these knowing I would have to make it work.I cut the tits off the ends the allow a flush mount install, I used a fender washer and the factory screw. I did drill and tap to move the driver side bump stop over 1 5/8” for a better landing spot on the tire. I plugged the factory hole with a powder coated screw. The bottom bump stop worked in the factory location.These are only sold in a set of 2 so I will order another set to install the passenger side bump stop, I may have to relocate this one as well for a better landing spot on the tire and I’ll just plug the factory hole.

Works on Jeep TJ 2004
You will need to cut the tips and since you need 3 of these for older Jeeps, you will need to buy 2xThe bottom of tire is fully supported (This is the most important part) but the top is only partially supported. Keep that in mind when thinking about your tires width.

Rubber material is too weak
I was installing these bump stops per the directions, by using a phillips head screw driver to insert the plug into the door. However the rubber on the plugg ripped and the screw driver went out the side. I was not exerting a lot of force. I compared the rubber material with the bump stop that was originally on the Jeep and it was much softer. I think the rubber these are made of is just too frail. Also maybe they could ship with a tool that is less apt to rip the soft rubber.

Great replacement bumper.
Works great. Cut to size for a tight fit. Eliminated the rattle and wobble. Easy install.

Comes up short
Easy to install but did not long enough to reach the spare tire so it still wobbles when I hit a bump on the road
