Fantastic pen and even better with the NASA logo and emblem.
As an astronomer I love this type of thing. Wanted to get one for my collection of space memorabilia. Not only is the pen really neat....the box, it comes in and the plastic case are neat. I like this one so much I just ordered a second one for my Eagle Scout son who is heavy into astronomy (member of three astronomy clubs). I already have a Fisher bullet pen which I love (although just a simple non NASA version) so know this one i a first class pen....but this one is going to stay in the box unused for posterity.========================Back to revise my previous review.....not because anything wrong though. I lost my other non-shuttle bullet pen and have gotten so used to it I need another. As mentioned above I have two of the Shuttle pens....one for myself in my astronomy collection and one for my Eagle Scout son. Figure since those are safe and unused I will get another one for day to day use. Hopefully this one doesn't get "borrowed" by my astronomy buddies ;-) Fisher pens are the best!

Great idea for a pocket pen.
I had always wanted a compact pen with no sharp edges to carry in my pants pocket, and this pen fits that bill perfectly. I ordered this pen August 25, 2011 and have carried it all over the world with me. As promised, it writes on almost anything, but I have not tested it in zero gravity. I prefer a medium point blue ink cartridge, and have yet to use up the original ink cartridge. I had ordered extra ink cartridges from Fisher in blue.FYI, if you're interested: The Fisher Space Pen writes so well that I ordered Fisher "Space Pen" refills that fit my Cross & Parker style pens. They are available in all the colors including silver, which surprised me. Bought them directly from Fisher for $5 each in 20012.

Great pen. Love the shuttle on it.
I have this pen in my everyday carry. Writing on this pen is a very pleasant experience. It's really smooth. I didn't think I would notice as its a pen and I just wanted a nasa pen 😂. It was tough to also spend more then $10 for a pen but I am glad I did. But they just tells you where I am from. The cap is used as part of the pen so when you get it it may look small but once you cap the bottom to write. It's really comfortable. I would recommend it as a nice gift.

This Pen Writes So Smoothly and Looks Fantastic
These pens look great, make great gifts and write silky smooth. There are no negatives with the space pen. I use mine daily to journal, and in fact, I only use this pen in my journal. The black pen with the gold space shuttle looks elegant to boot!

Don't push the cap on too hard.
Awesome pen. I've been using it nonstop since I got it a few months ago filling out logs and reports on a near daily basis. Dropped it plenty of times and it withstood the abuse. Only problem with it, which is why I removed one star, is the matte paint that helps give the pen some grip also makes it hard to remove the end cap if you push it on too hard prior to writing. Coworkers used pliers just to get it off. Couple of dents now, but still writes wonderfully. Lost the shuttle too since I got it. Flimsy bit.

Illest EDC pen ever
This pen is super sleek. It feels very nice in my hand. It is a lot smaller than expected but thats a plus. I love writing with it. I was using the fisher F701 as my EDC but I think I'm going to switch to the space pen now. And I love the little gold space shuttle emblem on the cap. A little bit expensive for a pen. But I think its worth it.

space, the final frontier, (write that down!)
We got this for a grad that likes psace, or is in space, or is spaced out..well whatever the reason these are quality pens tha I have personally used in the past. very hands. The only detractor is that experience has taught me to get the fine point refill, as the mediums sometimes will make a "blotch" of ink.One of the features I like is that the tip is capped so that you wont get that dreaded ink splotch on your pocket and/or purse if you carry one around.you never know when someone will want your autograph!NOTICE: I have NOT receive this product for free or at a reduced price to make an "unbiased" review. I paid for it myself. I have NOT received any compensation to review the product. The above review is my opinion, after having purchased and used the product.SO THERE!

It's A SPACE PEN!
Fisher Space Pens are in a class by themselves. My first one still works, still has its original charged cartridge. These are brilliant and durable. Yes, they do write under water.
