Hi, It's a permanent solution and not easily removed.

Will this stick a carbon fibre spoiler to a metal boot lid

Yes, I believe it would. It's a very good product, I use it for bonding many different materials. The problem may be if you ever need to remove it! Give both spoiler and boot lid a good degreaseing before fitting, and hold it in place with making tape until it bond's usualy best left overnight. Hope this helps.
