How hard would it be to pry this safe open with a knife or any metal piece?

If someone has enough time...in your home.... not this safe nor any other safe is going to stop them.. especially, if they brought tools along with them. On the other hand, if they went to your kitchen.. and got a knife out of your drawer.. it might take them all day to get into this one. I would suggest that you screw it down to whatever surface you have it on. Best use for this safe is to keep firearms or other items away from children or inquisitive visitors. I have mine on the lower shelf of the end table that is next to my sofa. Easy access if I need to... Note too...I only use a digital code...much quicker and more reliable. Worth the purchase.

The safe can store two standard size regular frame pistols or one pistols and some accessories.

how do you mount it under a shelf ? I do not see holes on top of safe

To mount under shelf you remove the name plate from the top of the safe. That will expose two holes that the mounting bracket bolts will fit through. Then with the drawer out twist the supplied nuts onto those studs.
