I am sure that they would work well. However, take care on size. They are available in sizes that are not very different, such as 25 mm ( 1 " ) and 30 mm (1 1/4 " ). These are the internal diameters, so you need to measure the commode feet carefully. Too small and you won't get them on, too large and they will fall off. A snug fit is required. A bit of saliva smeared on the feet will ease pushing them on. I bought these to put on the feet of an indoor/outdoor, metal, folding decorating ladder. These ferrules are ideal as they have a metal washer inside that stops the metal ends of the ladder legs from cutting through the bottom. Ferrules without this feature are OK for walking sticks where the downward force is not so great. Hope this helps.
