Easy at home is right.
This brand never disappoints me. Price is always right, strips are accurate and convenient.

Waste of money
TBH These are useless unless you have your baseline prior to becoming “concerned” or showing signs of peri/menopause

Don't bother
Can't tell the difference between pos and neg line. Why would they have a lighter line pop up for negative.

Not numerical
This tells you positive or negative. I would have preferred one where it tells you the actual number.

Straightforward test, gives a little piece of mind
Keep in mind that these DO NOT REPLACE actual medical testing. That said, if you're a bit curious/want some general guidance on where you're at in terms of peri-menopause/menopause, these seem good. I can't speak to their accuracy because I have not done in-office testing with a doctor. I mostly wanted to get a baseline as I enter the age category where peri-menopause is looming large. So now I have that. The test strips are easy to use - especially if you've ever done any other kind of pregnancy or LH testing, etc. Just pee in a cup, dip the strip, set it flat, and then read within the specified time window. The darker your test line is, the more FSH (if the test line is pale or non-visible, that indicates no/low FSH).I dinged one star because the packaging provides zero guidance on when to take these tests or how many to take. Your FSH levels fluctuate throughout your cycle, so it's important to plan when you are going to test - and to test more than once. This is not clearly explained in the instructions. Maybe this is because there is some conflicting information out there - I've seen that you should start testing on day 3 of your cycle, or more specifically, on the last day of your menstrual cycle. Then you should test again 5-7 days later. Depending on the results, and your desire, test again a week later. This gives you a view of your hormones throughout your cycle. I've also read that your levels can vary from one cycle to the next, so you might want to test within multiple cycles. The good thing is that the kit comes with 7 tests so you have some room to play around and test across various time frames. If your tests consistently show low/no FSH in your urine, you're likely not yet entering menopause. If you get some elevated results, you probably want to go confirm with a doctor.

Great peace of mind
I’m 47 and had a hysterectomy 7 years ago. I kept my ovaries. Lately I’ve had some uncomfortable symptoms and google said I could take this test for easy quick results so I bought and took the test and. Yep, I’m in menopause or peri. Hard to tell if you don’t have periods! So now I can bring this up at my next gyn appt and see what I can be doing to improve my symptoms. Nice to know before I go.
