This is a great book to have at hand when you're struggling with your mental prayer. St Alphonsus Liguori gives us great tips on how to converse with God.

This book was wonderful!! I definitely will be reading it again and again. I learned so much in regards to prayer and conversing with God - especially mental prayer, which is a struggle for me. My copy of this will be worn out in no time so I'm planning on buying another copy. One doesn't even need to be Catholic to appreciate how superb this book is! Saint Alphonsus Liguori is fast becoming 1 of my favourite saints and writers!!You will not be disappointed with this book. It's like a mini spiritual retreat for the mind! I love it!!

I have this book eye-opening and it has opened my eyes on how to help my prayer life.

This is a book well worth reading, even if you do not happen to believe in God.
