how to remove nail without damaging?

I just take a flat pry bar "Wrecking Bar" that has a thin edge and drive it under the J-Hook and pry it out. These units have a harder plastic body and don't roll up and can be reused. The soft body units I got at the big box store the nail would just pulled through the body and was trash in the end.
