I would say definitely not... these are for securing loads & tarps within the stated weight limits. If left out in the environment, the harsh effects of ultraviolet in sunlight would probably cause the stitching to deteriorate. WKH

Do you knw the thread weight on the sewn patches that form the loops?

No but I did use them to tie down a sportster on a trailer and had no problem

Could these be used as an extension for excersize cable machine handles?

These straps are certainly strong enough to use for exercise extensions. I suggest caution in how you rig them up to the handles so there is no slippage.

Are these made in china like there other products are.? i know they put usa after there name but so does hyundai. i want usa mfg.
