Compact, Easy to carry. Built well. If your iPhone does not have an earphone plug and you don’t prefer to use Bluetooth earbuds, this adapter lets you listen to music, movies, whatever and charge your phone at the same time.

I bought this so I could charge my iPhone and use the 3.5mm adapter/out at the same time. This worked brilliantly for about a week and then started having issues. First, the lightning charge port stopped working. Then, if that worked, the 3.5mm part stopped recognizing the input. In all situations, I would have to disconnect everything and start all over because it would wind up in a ‘stuck’ state and my phone stopped recognizing it all together. I chalked this up to just getting a defective one in the 2-pack and switched to the second one. That one only lasted about 3 uses before it too started exhibiting the same issues.If I don’t attempt to use the lightning port side, the 3.5mm adapter port works just fine, so I kept them. Ultimately, if you need something to do both at the same time, these aren’t the thing for you. Look for a higher quality product. Both of the units I received were cheap and defective.

Worked great for about a month, then all of a sudden started cutting out audio and stopped working entirely. Tried out the original apple dongle and worked fine, wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a dongle, easier to go the simple route.

I tested both adapters out immediately, everything worked.However, you aren't able to pause/change the song or increase volume via headphones using these. You have to take your phone out each time to do any of those commands.BUT, I use this product mainly in my car. So far this product has been good.My phone didn't lose any charge during while listening to music during a 4 hour long commute while using phone GPS. This product also allowed my phone to gain charge while simultaneously listening to music.If you're willing to look past the inconvenience of having to manually adjust volume or pause/change songs, this would be a good option.If you're someone who prioritize quick and convenient aspects of technology, this product is NOT for you.

It’s works well for a short time then starts glitching. I bought two sets. First one I used, the aux cord stopped working on it like a couple months in. The second one worked well but then about a month in, when I plug it into my phone the music will start changing randomly. Can’t even use it anymore because it keeps doing that.For the other set, I haven’t had any trouble yet but I haven’t really used them. I did use one in one of my headphones and it worked well enough but there’s this annoying buzzing like noise I hear the whole time. It’s easy to drown out when music is played though. I wish they could’ve worked better.

For connecting your headphones and charger through lightning, it does it kind of well.There’s only a couple of issues. For the headphone side, the headphones may stop getting recognized mid song if you’re unlucky.The bigger annoyance is that the connection inside the dongle may be too flimsy, so it will pause or start your music just because the dongle moved.Oh, and because of the headphone thing, the iPhone will randomly say it has detected water damage and decide not to use the dongle (this is an issue when trying to charge while listening )
