We got this screen to replace a sliding screen door after a friend walked through our screen door and totaled it. My expectations were pretty low, and it still does feel like a temporary solution, but so far it is working great. It is super easy for our kids to go through and it closes on its own, with the occasional need for minor jostling on the bottom to get the last magnet pair to close. Even our two-year-old has no issues, whereas with the sliding screen door someone would always have to open and close it for her. When I got it out of the package I was worried that it would be really dark and opaque, but it's not - it just looks like a normal screen when it is in place. We got the fiberglass option and it does not have the vertical stripes that I see on the polyester version. The magnets are strong. The drape is fine. I did have to resize it because it was too wide and tall, but a little bit of sewing did the trick. Velcro strength is great - my husband is really tall so the first couple of times he went through it, it was catching on his shoulders but it stayed in place with the Velcro, and he has adjusted so he walks through it at more of a sideways angle now. The screen feels very thick and sturdy. My 5-year-old just blasted through it at a run as I was writing this, and it was unfazed. One of my pictures shows fold marks in the screen - after being in place for maybe 12 hours, the marks are still there but starting to fade and I'm sure they would steam right out. Overall, seems like a great product and I'm glad we got it! Sure beats having no screen door, or paying a ton to get a better sliding screen!

I replaced one of these screens that had become tattered. I was impressed with the quality of this one in comparison. The Velcro is already attached to the sides and they provide a roll of the Velcro to stick to the doorframe. The Velcro goes all aling the edge of the panel that attached to the sides door frames. In the previous one the Velcro was in short strips and both halves needed to be stuck on. Caused a lot of problems and in the end wasn’t usable. So this one is loads better and sturdier.The front seam with the magnets is thick and sturdy. And I like that the two sides of the screen are attached to a single top instead of it being two separate panels that needed to be aligned as it was in the old one I had. That means the magnets are going to be aligned correctly.I like the sturdy feel of this screen and I think it will last a lot longer than my old one did.

This works of for my needs. Needed a screen that would keep bugs out and that my dog would be able to get in and out of. Top marks because my dog could manage it, did ok at keeping bugs out. More importantly, the included tacks are pretty small and cheap and I would occasionally need to tap them back in when they fall out. Even more importantly, at just about 2.5 years in place, the fabric around the magnets is degrading and the magnets are starting to fall out- a bad enough problem now to need replacement. Don't expect this to last much longer than a couple years.

Perfect solution for our needs! First off, it seems to be a well made product, of course time will tell how it holds up with three cats and adults going in and out to the backyard. The instructions are clear and easily understandable. I followed the instructions of cleaning the surface (although common sense!) before adhering the Velcro. I have a metal doorframe so I did not used the tacks included. My situations here is a bit tricky as I needed a solution for in between two doors to accommodate my three cats to have selfsufficient access to the cat safe backyard while I am out there working in the yard. This works for us as now I can leave the screen door open without bugs coming in but the cats can go in and out without assistance. After prepping the frame and adhearing the Velcro it took 10 minutes to add the screen curtain and I only needed a ladder as I am 5‘6“ and there is a small step down to the outside. I was able to do this by myself without trouble. Now of course it has to hang for the creases to disappear. Overall, I am really happy to have found a solution for my unique situation for an affordable price and no need for a handyman. Perfect for us 😃

I bought this again to replace my older model. This is definitely an upgrade from their old model. The new model is much more see-through and without lines down the mesh. It comes with a section of double-sized Velcro that I ended up needing for the top because the new model feels heavier than the old model and I think it pulls down a little more. The new model has SUPER strong magnets!! Like my dog and cat have not yet figured out that if they push hard enough the magnets part and the screen opens. It’s great and difficult at the same time. The new model also has two toes, one on each side, to tie each panel back. If you’re not using them they just kind of stick out and look funny, but it’s a nice upgrade. The screen fit the exact size of the old one and works great. I really recommend it- although if you have pets you may need to walk them through using it for a few days.

This is the 3rd or 4th screen we've purchased from this seller (no fault of the screen, we have big dogs that like to play tug-of-war with it). This latest screen is new and improved over their already great quality screen. The mesh seems to be a little thicker and the tacks used to install it are better quality. Again, there was nothing wrong with the screen to begin with - but they have improved it and I feel like the value for the money is even better now.The install takes only minutes and the magnets work great. The screen always closes all the way when we go in and out. And even with big dogs using the screen for entertainment, it holds up really well and lasts a long time.

Second one of these I’ve ordered. Very easy to install and works great. I chose to just use a hammer tacker and staples to attach mine to the wood door frame. The included thumb tacks are difficult to push into wood, and if you use a hammer or rubber mallet to tap them in, the black plastic caps break off easily. Once installed, looks good. Very easy to walk through. My dog loves that she can just run right through it as well. Magnets are great for quick closure and no bugs.
