Every Toscano product is a slight gamble. I think this might be because (according to their claim) the items are hand-finished. Speaking from my own experience (you would NOT believe the number of Toscano pieces I own), some of these alleged hand-finishers are meticulous artists; others have all the skills of an untalented primary school kid.All I can say is that I have two of this particular faery (what can I say? I like symmetry!) and there are no 'finishing' issues on either. I suspect that's because this item is two-tone, with the colour in the basic resin and no over-painting for a 'hand-finisher' to mess up.The only issue I have is with her hands, which are rather crudely modelled in comparison to the rest of the sculpture. A great pity, and the reason for a 4-star review instead of 5.But apart from that, I'm more than happy with my (2) purchases.They live indoors, because a) like most Toscano products, they're far too good to be outdoors, and b) in my experience Toscano products do NOT do well in the British climate, even when you follow the little instruction sheet.A final note: It would probably be breaking some sort of Amazon rule if I were to say that this little statue occasionally comes to life when you're not around... so I'm NOT going to say that. The very notion is ridiculous, right? ;)

This is a large adult fairy and rather attractive. Shame it does not have anchoring holes as, although quite heavy, she might fly away in heavy winds. Watch out for the old style polystyrene foam packing. It gets everywhere. Update: Her ethereal green colour looks quiet eerie at dusk and her modelling has a definite supernatural aspect. Very pleased!

I love this fairy, she looks stunning in our garden the details on her are beautiful, only one problem with her is the wings,they just slot into her on the back, so you have to be very careful not to knock them off her back,apart from that she looks very beautiful in the garden you won’t be disappointed with her xx

I read a few reviews that mentioned poor packaging and damaged product. I experienced neither. The statue was well packaged and arrived undamaged.It is the perfect addition to my Fairy Garden. Would very much recommend.
