When you are out ghost hunting and the ghost are draining your batteries, you need to have enough to finish the investigation. If you run out of power the investigation is over and any camera you can't power up is going to miss that once in a lifetime shot.

Having extra NP-40 batteries is helpful and I have charged them, but I took off 1 star because the actual charging station is annoying. When plugged in and placing a battery in a charging slot, it does not start charging battery (seems to not read that a battery is even connected), until I have to unplug and re-plug the usb cord.It does come with a nice case for charger and batteries.

Case is perfect to keep up with extra batteries. Charges quickly and now my son always has a spare for his camera ready to go. Was happy with the price too!

These came quick and worked well. I love that I can recharge two at a time which is handy when your kids play double headers. Thankfully all the batteries worked, I've had bad luck with a few other brands. All these batteries worked, and kept their charge.
