Le CreusetSignature Cast Iron Everyday Pan, 11", Licorice

I am in love with this pan and brand. I'm a very simple cook so this one thing really can cover most of my bases. It's super easy to clean and super easy to cook with and for a cast iron piece it's not that heavy. Use it for everything, can't go wrong!

I have had a Le Creuset dutch oven for over 20 years and I love it. My dutch oven is great for many things, but this pan is so much more versatile and I use it much more. This is lighter, wider, and deep “enough” for most things I make. It is easy to clean and retains heat well on my electric (glass) cooktop. I have yet to find a “hot spot” or experienced uneven cooking (which often happens with my green pan skillets on the same cooktop.) I knew that the pan did not come with a lid and thought that I would not mind - but it turns out that I did mind. At first I used my old stand-by - a pizza pan, but then I tried the largest lid I own, a glass and metal model (pictured) from 1KEA - it fits perfectly and is super light weight! This combo is now the closest thing to perfect that I have in my kitchen.

I am not sure what everyone is complaining about. This is our seventh Le Creuset pot in 25 years and it is just as well-made as all of the others. It is an absolute joy to cook with and the black interior is somewhat nonstick as well as easier to clean.To the people who complain that there is no lid they should have looked at the pictures. It's quite obvious there is no lid.To the person who complained about the size of the pan they should've read the description because it clearly states 3.4 quarts.If you want a great pan to cook in by this.
