1 bottle to 0.5 litre water and follow instructions. Hope this is helpful

I think it is to protect against corrosion of the capsule holder and to direct the liquid evenly through it. There is a you tube page which explains how this process works. Don't forget after the Descaling is finished pour it in your kettle, boil, and it Descales it too 👍

It will vary on how much you use the machine. On mine the switch light turned orange instead of green when it warmed up. We had the machine about 8 months before we had to do it and we use use it once almost every day sometimes twice.

Q: Does the kit come with the orange funnel or is it just the liquids?

No funnel either I did mine with vinagar
