Works well
Works great on an aging bosch battery drill trigger. Had lubricant contamination on the contacts and this cleaned them right up

Cleaning sound equipment?
I was looking around to find a reliable way to clean the potentiometers (rotary sound/volume controls) on my vintage sound equipment. CRC QD Contact Cleaner 03130 was the ticket ! No more scratchy, crackly, sound from my amplifier since using this product to clean the connections. No more sound cutting in and out. The knobs turn so easy now... It has brought new life to my vintage Peavey amplifier ! It is safe to use... Just spray it on the affected electronic parts using the included spray hose (You don't even have to remove the components from the PC board !) Of course, you should let it dry before putting your equipment back into use but it drys quickly. THIS STUFF WORKS ! Highly recommended for tube sockets, potentiometers, and any other electronics where you need to restore a good electrical connection... Radios, Amps, Tape Decks, outdoor light sockets.. just about anything electrical !

UPDATE OF UPDATE - UPDATE - not so happy anymore: Cracking returns after 1 day
10/29/2019: UPDATE of the UPDATE: Back to 5 stars. Needed to apply several times, but I assume last time I was able to get if better in the (closed) Potmeters, wiggled the potmeters and now the result is perfect. No crack at all after a week if regular use of my 1977 amplifier. So spray works excellent - likely a 'user error'.UPDATE: it worked fantastically- for one day only! I tried it now multiple times, but the cracking returns after 1 day. in all cases I let it completely dry up before using,. So disappointed!ORIGINAL REVIEW: Got a 1977 Yamaha CA810 amplifier which I started using again after 18 years. It is very well build, but the pot meters for volume, balance and adjustable loudness barely worked. Not only cracking, but then off and then extremely loud. Not usable in that state. I bought this product, sprayed it on/in the pot meters (very strong flow!) and waited 1.5 hr until completely dry. The result? AMAZING!! No single crack in any of the pot meters treated. Main complaint is that for to avoid spilling /spraying during transport they covered tape over the lid. That worked great, but when removing this tape, also 90% of the instructions were torn off. The can is pretty big, enough for the next 400 years of this amp of 20 other amplifiers. 1/2 the size for 60% of the money would be my preference, because I don't have much other use for it than my aged amp.

Saved the Day!
I've been plagued with a "slightly" oxidized ribbon connection that made our "Top of the Line" range/oven. I can attest that using the self-cleaning cycle on these ovens will lead to premature failure.Having replaced the touch-membrane keypad, still a few functions wouldn't work. CRC Contact Cleaner, sparingly sprayed in the control board socket, followed by a blast of compressed air ... and a "forever cup of coffee" to be sure, ALL corrosion was eliminated. The alternate was to replace the control board. Heck, it was only $230 plus shipping ... but no longer available from Samsung. That right, just 25% of what a new range would cost.CRC saved the day! Thank you for a great product, fast delivery right to the doorstep by an Amazon delivery person with a great smile.

This stuff can clean a contact on an electronic piece of equipment (XBox, Controller, RV components, etc.). ONLY USE WHEN POWER IS OFF OR DISCONNECTED!Saved me hundreds of dollars already.

This was selected for a lack of electrical conduction.
The company I was contracting with was using alcohol to clean circuit boards, which made them fail the HiPot tests, due to the hygronomic nature of alcohol. Replaced with contact cleaner reduced the time needed to wait between cleaning and testing.
