I have been ordering this for my bird feeder and it has been so much more cost effective and less waste. My previous bird foods, the birds would toss the seeds and make a mess and only eat the seeds they wanted. This one they savor which makes it more cost effective and a win win for everyone

I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews that note that birds of all kinds love this seed, and it creates much less mess. My feeders are mounted on poles in planting areas with mulch. With my old seed there was constantly a mess, that was very obvious because of the mulch, under the poles. Not with this stuff. Birds do seem to go through it a bit faster than regular seed and it is a bit more expensive. But. Totally worth it from my perspective.

This is my go to bird seed for my feeders. Happy with time saved by no longer sweeping my balcony or weeding under feeder. Attracts big and small birds (I have a second feeder for the small birds that the larger ones can’t access because they can be bullies and eat all the feed). Includes shelled peanuts unlike other brands, and is great value for the amount.

I enjoy seeing birds eat drink and carry on. I enjoy watching our indoor only cats watching "Kitty TV"out the window. I said that because I'm about to say this: I also feel it our responsibility to help wildlife eat and drink and make it thru sudden weather changes that occur these days that are not compatible to what has been their natural habitat before we moved in and took over. Over the years when we as people in the U.S have faced hard times I have watched pets be deserted let loose in the river wash, in the parks, even thrown on the highway and free way in bags. When the weather changes I have seen my feeders get crowded with more than just the regulars. When the economy gets bad same thing plus a number of strays lost and frightened and hungry. We people can be not always so wonderful. So I make room in our budget for 2 bags of this bird seed a month leaving a few things off the people part of the grocery food list. The manufacturers of this brand of this birdseed help by making it available even if they drop the weight of the bag and raise the price. Like I said we people can be not always so wonderful. But you know what? Doing something for living creatures of any type that are in trouble to get by even just alittle will make you feel better. And in these dark times who can't do with alittle of that?!

Well worth the cost!Has:1. increased the variety of birds,2. decreased mess,3. decreased need to refill feeder,4. and decreased debris that clogs feeder.

Good News: This birdseed attracted a nice mix of birds, Cardinals, Jays, Titmouse, Finches, Chickadees , Sparrows etc.Bad news: RACCOONS, squirrels and mice.I need to find a way to keep the raccoons away especially. They gobble up more food than all the other critters put together. I welcome any suggestions.

Fantastic Idea! So much easier to keep the ground clean and sanitary with the platform feeder! We fill a feeder further over with sunflower seed for the birds which feed from the tube feeders. Great price, great product.Always fresh and clean. Our little feathered friends give me just enough time to move away and then swoop down and cozy up to several other types of birds, big and small together. Beautiful! Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Blue Jays, sparrows.
