Is this bag 25kg or 25L? It can't be both.

I've had a look at the bag and can't find either printed on it. I would go with 25k. It was about the same size as 25ltr bag of compost I recently walked a mile home with but a fair bit heavier. It's half full now and still heavy ish. Hope that's helpful :)

If left outside and it rains and get wet is the sand then ruined and needs to be replaced?

I would say yes as rain will bring in all sorts of dust and dirt. Our sand gets wet from the kids mixing it with tap water but I don't mind that as it will dry out easily enough if you drain the water off.

Is this sand suitable to fill a punching bag’s base?
