Skip Expensive Brand That's Permanent, This One is Detachable Magnet, Great Texture and Matte Effect
I was wowed by how flawless and effortless was ESR's ipad pro 13 m4 screen protector, it's method of just pulling and done installation without any issues like dots, bubbles, or wiggly lines--that I was for sure going to purchase the paperlike magnetic screen attachment for my brand new ipad and apple pencil pro. And it did not disappoint. Great quality, does have a paperlike feel when using your apple pencil, and it installs in a quick minute. It performs well with my apple pencil pro and this is despite or inspite of having already also installed a previous ESR screen protector. No issues whatsover, and it does have also effortless removal/re-attach via magnets on top and bottom of the ipad screen. The package provides a transparent folder for, I presume, storing the magnetic screen when it is not attached to your ipad. It comes with everything like stickers for removing dust, cleaning etc, bubble removal wipes, etc. The alignment on the ipad is good but that's on how you manually align it. You can't really go wrong, just lift up and re-align if it is off. It also seems like it is easy to clean even when attached magnetically, but time will tell.My screen cover also continues to turn on and off when the cover on my case is closed and open. Using fingers on the paperlike screen also is normal, no issues. This is my 2nd paperlike screen protector, but my 1st one was the expensive one that is permanent. While that one does have great quality, I regret having it permanently on my old gen ipad. It works great with my older USB apple pencil but then I was stuck with a permanent dimmer screen because it was stuck on the ipad. You really don't have to buy that really expensive one to get the same texture like feel of the pencil/stylus. This one is adequate for me, for what I need, for creativity and for textured performance of my apple pencil pro. Also, I am glad this one is magnetic and removable, very convenient. Sometimes I want to use my ipad pro 13 inch m4 as a drawing canvas and sometimes I like the screen to have that OLED sheen for watching or browsing images. I don't know how long this particular magnetic screen will last since it will be bend a lot when removing and installing (or rather detaching routine in the long run)--but that's for future updates to post. For now, I am satisfied with any ESR products I've purchased for iphones, ipads, as well as for other tablets that I also have (non apple). I am also considering maybe purchasing the folio keyboard for my ipad since I am very pleased with ESR products.

Does what it’s supposed to temporarily…UPDATED
Loved the feel, it was functional for the drawing I needed, after once allowing someone more heavy handed to draw, it kept slipping off the screen and no w not even a week after purchasing I’m shopping for a new one because it’s just not as “reusable” as they advertised. It no longer effectively sticks to the screen. Durability 2, value for money 2 (I should have just bought another paper-like screen protector or one that adheres directly to the screen), it looks great and provides a nice matte appearance, ease of installation 3 ( easy with room for error, mainly because it peels up at the corner if you try to have a snug case on with any edge alongside this screen. cover)UPDATE: I’m pretty sure the seller reached out and send a new one and I haven’t had any issues with the new screen protector at all with daily use.

Great concept, but didn’t work for me
I really liked the idea behind this screen protector. The matte finish gave a satisfying paper-like feel, and writing with the Apple Pencil felt smooth—almost like using a real pencil. It’s a clever, reusable design, and I loved that it attaches magnetically. However, the magnetic part kept sliding around on my iPad, which made it hard to use consistently. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it just didn’t stay in place for me, so I had to return it. Still, I think it could work well for others depending on how they use their iPad.

Nice paper feel, especially with a HB pen tip
As advertised. Nice and sturdy, no bubbles with easy application.

Fantastic product but FaceID cut-out must be positioned correctly
This is an incredible, transformational product that has to be oriented the right way up or FaceID will no longer work on the iPad. This is explained in tiny print in the instructions. There is a cutout for FaceID that is easy to miss because it’s so easy to attach the wrong way as well as the right way using the built-in magnets. With that, my Apple Pencil Pro actually feels like a pencil for the first time, ever. It completely transforms the experience of using the pencil. The matte effect on the appearance of the display is noticeable but nice. This product is very thin; the iPad Pro’s tandem OLED display still looks great and it’s tempting to just leave it attached.

Not sure what I expected
The idea of a removable and reusable screen protector is amazing. Dust? No problem, take the screen protector off, clean the screen and the protector then put it back on. Fingerprints? Non existent, especially because of the matte finish. It’s thin, and bubble free. Since it’s plastic, it’ll never crack. So many great things about this screen protector. Correction, so many great ideas. In practice, each individual idea works. But I still prefer screen films like the paperlike screen protector, or inexpensive versions of the paperlike screen protector. The idea of having the protector be removable and reusable is great, until you realize the magnets they use on the edges of the protector make it just seem slightly out of place, as if the screen protector isn’t supposed to be there, as if it was only ever meant to be temporary. And that’s fine because it works great to be something temporary. Then the touch and feel of it… It feels like it doesn’t belong. Try touching it compared to just the screen.. I prefer the matte paper-like finish compared to glass. But this doesn’t quite make it to that level of experience, again, because of the temporary nature of the screen protector. To be honest, I was hoping this would be an amazing solution to all the times I got dust under my Paperlike screen protector. I was highly disappointed and wanted to give it 1/5 stars. But my expectations were different from what the product really is - something temporary that you can clean both sides of the surface, and reuse - even if you get a different iPad of the same size. Had that been my expectation at purchase, this would have been a 5/5 review. So I’m settling at a 3/5.
