Does this fit into the Thomas the train wooden tracks ?

Hello, Thank you for your interest in this MTA NYC Subway set. This subway set only runs on the tracks that are supplied with this train set and NOT with the Thomas train set which is wood. The two trains are 2 different sizes. However, this train set does have tracks, lights, sound and requires batteries (which are not included). We hope this information helps out. Glen
