Very convenient product just stick it down the drain, it's not instant but good results in a day or two. Tp: They sell a new product with a pleasant odor, but the original, much cheaper, already has a pleasant smell.

My kitchen disposal broke, and I have neither the time nor the resources to repair it right now, which means that whatever gunk was in there when it broke never got washed away, and was, unfortunately, beginning to smell bad. I put one of these sticks in there in the afternoon, and by evening, the smell was gone! When I shone a flashlight into the drain, I could see that the area around the stick was clean, and not nasty brown, which tells me that it is dissolving the slime like it promises. I'm so happy to not have a stinky kitchen anymore! And while I hope I can get my disposal fixed soon, this is a good quick, cheap, and easy fix for the time being!

When used on a regular basis it does keep drains clear.

I purchased another brand of this product prior to this purchase which worked great.I bought this brand because it cost less and came with more sticks.The old saying, " You get what you pay for " applies here.Unlike the other brand that cost more, these drain cleaning sticks were of smaller diameter, brittle and broke and crumbled easily making them useless.The other brand's sticks were thicker and flexible making it easier to put in the drain without fear of breaking them.While I am sure these sticks, when not broken and washing down the drain are effective the durability of the product is lacking, and I will not by this brand again.
