Long lasting charge
Bought these 9 months ago. Today I received the first recharge alarm. Our recline furniture is used daily. Very happy how long the charge lasted.

Yes, You Can Keep It Plugged in 24/7...Works Great in Power Outages!!!
I was initially a bit leery about this battery pack, but after contacting the manufacturer and having my questions answered I went ahead and ordered it and am glad I did! This pack is for a disabled family member's electric sit/stand recliner. After he was stranded in it several times during abrupt power outages, enough was enough, he needed something that could remain plugged in and act as a source of power during any of the many power outages we experience in our rural location. We didn't want the hassle of plugging/charging/unplugging repeatedly, and this meets our needs. It can remain plugged in, which does not harm the battery, and as soon as the power goes out we know that our family member is not stuck and unable to get out of his chair until we get the home generator going (usually within a few hours if he's home alone in a power outage, within 30 minutes if we're home). All in all, this provides great reassurance and a viable way to prevent the dreaded "help I'm stuck in full recline and the power just went out and I have to get out of the chair to use the bathroom" panic mode our loved one had to endure. So far, we have had 3 power outages, all in the early evening, one of which lasted 6 hours, and he was able to continue using his recliner just fine...when the power came back on after the 6-hour outage the battery pack registered a charge of 98%. This was with him using the lift feature several times and adjusting the foot rise and back support constantly. I highly recommend this pack to be used in any way you wish...either to be charged and then unplugged from the wall and used as the power source until it alerts you to recharge it again, or kept plugged into the wall outlet and attached to the chair so the pack acts as an emergency power source during power outages.

Battery Life is Terrible - No Actual Company
I seldom leave negative reviews but this product simply doesn't work and there is no customer service available to even request help.Ordered my The Blue Cactus furniture battery after reading several positive reviews on Amazon. Some of the reviews said that the battery did not last, but others advised that if you stuck with it through 3-5 full charge cycles it would then hold the charge. Others pointed out that those who experienced fast draining battery problems probably had lots of things using the battery, such as power headrests, always lighted cup holders or touch pads, USB ports for charging phones, etc. Since my need was to power a Steelcase loveseat that only had the normal reclining back and footrest, and none of the other power drains, I figured the 2500mAh battery should easily handle my loveseat and last a long time. Also, my recliner is in a finished basement and doesn't get used all that much.Received my battery pack 1/27/22, charged it, and it easily plugged into the rear of the recliner. Compliments to the Blue Cactus on its good packaging and clear & simple instruction manual. The battery digital display was clear and showed a 100% charge. I sat on the recliner and and went up and down 5 times to test it, and it worked flawlessly. The next night I went down and used the recliner again, no problem. I went down the 3rd night and nothing. The battery had no charge, but I didn't panic because the reviews pointed out that a few recharge cycles may be needed for it to hold a charge.I recharged the battery to 100%, plugged it into the recliner, and it worked fine. I didn't use the recliner for a few days, but the next time I went down the battery was totally discharged. I recharged it to 100% and set it aside because we were leaving on a 3 week vacation in February. When I got back I checked the battery, and it was totally discharged, but I was still hopeful because I had been gone for 3 weeks. Recharged, replugged, reclined - it worked...for 3 days again before it went totally dead. Thought I would give it one more try, so recharged to 100% the fourth time, plugged it into the recliner, but decided to not even use the recliner but check the battery every 24 hours. Day 2 - 100%. Day 3 - 100%. Day 4 - 0%.Figuring that I had a dud battery (it can happen, I suppose), and knowing that I was out of the 30 day Amazon return window, decided to call The Blue Cactus to see what I should do. That's when I found that if one goes to thebluecactuscompany.com they have one page that is a nice advertisement for their battery pack. And nothing else. No phone number, no email, no mailing address...nothing. Returning to the Amazon page there is a 90 day Product Support option (I've got 1 or 2 days left) that I will try. Oh, it also lists the company's address, which according to Google maps is a residence outside Nashville. Will update if anything good happens when I contact product support.Given the other positive reviews, I assume that they are not "planted" and other folks are having good experiences. So my advice is simply this; if you order the product, charge it and try it out quickly to see if it holds a charge. If not, make sure you return it within the Amazon return policy...don't assume it will begin to work after additional charge cycles. Otherwise you will wind up with a $128 paperweight, like I did.Good luck!

What took me so long?
I finally bought these and boy here are they awesome. Gone is the tangle of messy hazardous chords stretched across the room to an outlet. My chairs even have a Velcro pouch where I could hide the battery. I’m hoping it’s not too heavy on the pouch whenever I recline. The only reason I did not give five stars is because I just got them yesterday. But I have needed these for three years!!!

Life saver for lift chair dependent person
Such a necessary item to have if you have a lift chair dependent person. I bought this in case the electric went out and still able to use a lift chair. The next week the electric went out during a storm for over 24 hrs and this was still almost fully charged after regular use of the lift chair. Thank you!

Club Furniture
We had just received a power recliner from clubfurniture.com, I was reclining in it, and we had a power outage. Still recovering from a stroke, I had an awful time getting out of the chair. After researching recliner battery packs, we chose Blue Cactus. We intend to use wall power on the whole (power cords are not a problem in our room) and then switch over to battery in the event of an outage. It's just a matter of removing the existing plug from the two-pin socket on the back of the Club Furniture chair and replacing it with the Blue Cactus plug. We don't need to raise the flap, and can just leave the battery pack on the floor for the duration of the outage.

Fast battery Drain!
I’ve had my battery for 2 weeks and have fully charged it twice! I only use it for my recliner with no USB’s plugged in. I live in Florida where we have a lot of power outages from storms. I check the battery twice a day. Twice now the battery showed 88 & 86 percent and 3 hours later it beeped low battery and chair wouldn’t recline! I am 79 yrs old and had to climb out of my chair! With 2 hip replacements it isn’t fun. Why does it lose 80% in 3 hours, is this normal?
