We purchased two sets that we put together, The best thing I ever bought for my kids. It comes with blue and red flat trailer with wheels and you get to build your own car, tractor or a train on it, it's pretty nice my kids love it . From all the toys that I ever ordered or have, that set is the best thing and the most thing they play with.

What kind of plastic are they made out of?

It's durable plastic! I purchased this set a couple of years back and all the kids from our neighborhood play with it regularly! Not one broken piece!
