Yes it is a little bit heavier but it is not at all uncomfortable I use mine all day at work.

Some reviews are false.so that being said does it come with rhe suspension or not

Yes mine did come with suspension but not the ratcheting type as discribed

No, The Vulcan hard hat suspensions should be used. No other brands match up. Look for part numbers VCB201 for the ratchet (turn knob) style or the VCB101 for the slide (pin lock in place) style suspensions.
