Dell Dock WD19S USB-C 180W Power Delivery

I ordered this model of dock because it's what the IT guys used for my workstation setup. I wanted the same for my home office. This dock arrived quickly, just one day after I ordered it from Amazon. I plugged in two curved Dell gaming monitors, a mouse, keyboard and my personal laptop. Everything worked perfectly. Then I switched in my work laptop and it worked perfectly too. Plug and play, like hitting the easy button! Just what I needed.

Third WD19S purchased from Amazon and Dell, none of which WORK.I have another 2 at home, both issued by companies. One does not reliably operate its USB ports, the other is flawless.Picking a USB laptop dock is serious business, seems like there is a lot of bad product out there. Just have a look at the "refurbished" on Amazon and "used" on eBay to see what I mean. You stand a strong chance of getting something with some, majority, or critical functionality not working, and if you are lucky, you too can damage a monitor or two with your purchase.Save yourself the trouble and spend the money on name-branded products elsewhere, but the Dell WD19S, either direct or on Amazon, is not the product you want!

I purchased this docking station so that I could reduce the number of cables attached to my laptop. It had the bonus of being able to charge the laptop's battery as well. It was easy and straight forward to install and hookup. All my external devices worked perfectly and all the messy cables are neatly managed and out of the way. The unit is a bit pricey, but it is doing the job well so I can't complain too much. I would recommend this unit if you would like to streamline the cables going to your lap top.

I have two dell laptop computers Dell Latitude 5510 and E4310and my Work computer is an HP ProBook 650 G8.This docking station works with all three Laptops.The Refurbished ones look new. I bought two of these stationsI work from home and go to the office once a month and I didn'twant to disconnect the Thunderbolt dock. These docking stationsare well worth the money. I think they will connect to almost any laptopthat has a standard usb 2.0 or 3.0 connection...I am able to use three monitorswith this docking station

We purchased several of these docking stations for our company. Overall, they are good docking stations for the 3 monitors that we connect to them.One thing to be wary of: The seller has them listed as "New". However, one of the docking stations failed recently and in checking the warranty status through Dell, it show as being purchased and delivered to some place in Italy in 2020. Obviously, then this tells me that the device itself is used. I am working through a support chat now with Amazon to see what options are available since this dock was purchased within the last 2 months. Not to say this would be for all sellers or devices, but that currently is our experience right now.

Solid connection, not flakey like a lot of other docks I have used. Pushes plenty of power to rapidly charge my machine, definitely worth the extra $$ over value brands.

These are a miracle of technology! We have several locations where we use the laptops. I bought this system for each location so we could easily plug into the laptop and run multiple screens and other peripherals that are at that location. It makes set up so easy and also allows each person's laptop to swap out quickly. When I am done with my morning tasks, wife is up and ready to go to work on her books so I shut down, unplug, and she plugs in an boots up. Quick and easy with only one connection to the laptop.
