Does the job.
These work great.A shower door installation guy was going to charge me $500 to replace the old hinges.I bought these and had a handyman install them in 10 minutes by himself.I bought another set for when these wear out. I have very hard water where I live.I don’t have the tools, mainly a drill, to do it myself.I’m not a handy person.

Does the job and great price.
Great replacement part. Installed quickly in shower room with no issue it’s been one month so far without problem. A slight defect on the metal finish. Otherwise it’s a really good price product.

Good Replacement
This was my fourth order, all from different sellers/manufacturers. All previous hinges had rough edges from laser cut. I was also concerned that, unlike the original hinges installed 16 year ago, none had small adjusting screws at the back edge for final positioning of the glass door. This set fit well and installation was relatively easy and straightforward, other than a second person was needed as the 3/8 thick glass door is quite heavy. I decided to reuse the original 8 stainless steel mounting screws to the wall as the ones provided with the hinges were about half inch shorter. I also added more bearing grease for longer life and then after final installation I caulked around the hinges with silicone.Basic replacement instructions not provided with the hinges would have been useful, but I would still recommend this product.

Replacement for Shower Door Hinges
These hinges were purchased to replace two existing hinges on my shower door. As shown in the picture, the bottom hinge had been improperly installed with a massive amount of silicone caulk to hold the glass in place. That resulted a worn out hinge making a loud poping sound as the door is opened and closed.Good thing (not mentioned in the listing) is each of these hinges comes with 3 gaskets (1.5 mm thick each) and with a 8 mm thick glass, the gaskets are sufficient to fill the hinge openning of about 12 mm. I am happy that the hinges are exact duplicates and the door works perfectly after replacement.Just to point it out, it is possible to do an in-place install without door removal if you have 2 people to do it. 1. Loosen the wall mount screws slightly so they can be easily taken out later. 2. Let one person inside, use wood shims to shim the door against the bottom and the side wall to fix it in place. 3. Remove the wall mount screws and the hinge screws. 4. The peron outside can then take the old hinge out and hold the new one in place. 5. New mount screws are installed. 6. Assemble the new hinge plate with the 3 supplied gaskets. 7. Take the door shims out. Note that in step 6, before putting on the plate, it may be helpful to use small pieces of nylon strips to fill any slacks between the glass and the hinge screws.Yes, it is a great purchase and a tremendous value.

Beware of gaskets
The hinge itself is fine. 3 plastic transparent gaskets provided do not work for the top hinge - due to low friction the door slowly tilts over time, no mater how hard I tighten the screws. I did not have this problem with my old hinges that had a black rubber-like gaskets. Now it looks like I need to spend another $10 for new gaskets ...
