RhinoRAS21 Safe Ladder Clamps, Energy Class A, Multi

There's were recommended to me by a fellow tradesman and I'm not disappointed. I have to take the ladders on and off my roof rack dozens of times a day and this makes it so quick and easy, literally a couple of seconds per clamp. And if I'm going in a building for some time they are lockable. They are very robust and I can't see how anyone could improve on this design. Highly recommended.

I used to use ratchet straps. By comparison, these clamps are saving me time every day attaching and removing my ladder from my vehicle. The clamps are providing a more secure attachment for the ladder, and the time saving is much appreciated.

This is a high quality item,delivering as claimed,to be a convenient way of attaching a heavy ladder to a roofrack,which is normally a chore.With these its a quick and simple operation,with the huge bonus of a locking mechanism,so no one can pinch the clamps or ladder,so no more chains and padlocks required..again all time saving.HOWEVER..you must be very carefull when locking the handle into position.If your roofrack is not a solid bar,or spans a large vans roof,the locking mechanism can very easily flex the roofrack when you lock the arm down,causing the clamp to not be tight to the ladder,and not be secured correctly.YOU MUST,pull the yellow rubber top bar,vertical with some degree of force before you lock the handle down.This then takes any flex out of the roof rack,before you push to clamp down to lock.I can easily see why some people have mentioned this in feedback..no a massive problem,but could have serious consequences to have a loose heavy ladder flying off your vehicle!

These clamps are pretty legendary now amongst tradesmen. I’d say they must be on most’s wishlists if they don’t already have them.I treated myself to a set and they don’t disappoint. Fast, absolutely solid, and they do the job perfectly.The nice thing about these is the ‘hook’ part has a flat bottom which means they fit well on some of the modem deeper profile roof bars.At £55 you won’t be disappointed

Really strong clamps that take seconds to fit to a ladder on my van roof . Excellent

Bought these because they looked secure and easy to operate. Made from what looks like a heavy duty nylon type plastic they seem strong. The locking system seems strong as well and it's very easy to clamp the ladders down. As you push the lever down they clamp downwards slightly holding the ladders nice and tight. Are they as secure as metal ones with a padlock? I personally don't think they are but would still need someone stood on your roof with a saw to get these off.For day to day and overnight security in a built up area I'm happy with them. If I was really concerned I could always put a cable lock round the ladders as well.
