Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Case with Strap Band Compatible with Google Pixel Watch 2/1 (2022/2021) - Black

I brought this for two reasons, firstly to protect the watch and secondly to change its appearance. I'll start with the looks, I love it. As standard I think the Pixel watch looks a little effeminate (each to their own) and looked a little out of place as a sports watch which is one of the uses I have it for. This case/strap has totally transformed the look of the watch, it looks a lot more rugged now and people even thought I had a whole new watch.The other reason was for protection and this is fantastic. It totally surrounds the watch and has dealt with a few knock with no problems or marks. Oh and after a few months I can say its really comfortable and very well made. For only £20 its a bargain in my eyes.

My pixel watch 2 strap became faulty after just under a year of use when the metal groove which the original strap slide into was no longer working and secure. This Spigen replacement was perfect as it encased the whole watch with a built in strap and case. Feels a bit like an old school Casio G shock watch strap now but fits perfectly. Utterly faultless.

I was worried about using the Pixel Watch 2 due to how vulnerable it is (I did manage to get a minor scratch during holiday). But with this strap, I can forget the worry, and just wear it like a normal watch. No issues. It has been great! I have had this for nearly 2 weeks and taken it on a holiday, and it is comfortable to wear, offers amazing protection, can leave your watch on the table sideways without causing any bumps.It offers a great peace of mind. However, this is designed for PW1, and not PW2, therefore crown doesn't fit very well. The bottom of the crown is hitting the band, so I can't easily rotate the crown. I now use the crown just as a home button - which is a shame, as the crown is brilliant. This case makes the one button (above crown) more accessible though.I bought it for £20.99 (bit expensive IMO), and I would highly recommend it (if you can live without using the crown) for the protection it offers.

Makes the watch look so much better with the thicker strap and face protection. Great quality product.

This strap and case protector combo is a great way to change up the look of the pixel watch to a more rugged 'g-shock' style watch. The pixel watch does feel exposed to easy damage so when you want to be more activity focused this is a quick alternative. The crown is still usable, though slightly more fiddly - not a deal breaker. and you can quickly swap back to the classic look when you feel like it.The strap is one type of plastic - with some sort of fake carbon fibre accents which are nice but not as pronounced as they appear in the official shots. overall good value and recommended. works well with the night stand charger from spigen too.

EDIT - I am trying to write a review for this strap as its the 2nd one I have bought but for some reason Amazon keeps sending me back here to the original review!So anyway as per the headline works well but for a lump of plastic that lasted just 1 year, 4 months and 16 days I dont think I will be buying another one (the watch will probably be out of date at that stage) I only bought this as I know it fits and really thats all I wanted.As per headline this is a great idea that works well for me. I have fairly big wrists and the stock band was a bit too tight so I was looking for a replacement when I spotted this. I did actually want an all black one (which is what I received) so was happy enough but the photos do make it look like it has carbon fibre inserts - it doesn't its entirely plastic and that brings me to my 2nd point in the headline and that it is a bit expensive really for literally just a bit of plastic (even if it is well made)I also note that while the charging part works, in my case anyway I have to leave the watch on its side as there is no mission of it sitting flat. This might cause issues for anyone with a 3rd party charging station that seem quite popular that relies on the watch sitting flush with the surface.I will say that the quality is good and that it fits very well and does what I want so yes the only complaint is that its a bit expensive.

The product has enhanced the watch (pixel 2). The watch felt smaller before and now has appeal as well as much needed product protection. I would highly recommend this product.
