It does not need to be used within 7 days. Mine lasts over a month or more.

Does it contain MSG ?

No. This brand does not contain MSG. There are brands that have MSG but this one does not. I am extremely sensitive to MSG and I would know it if it contained any.

what are ingredients?

Like soybean paste (Doenjang), gochujang is made through a fermentation process. Its primary ingredients are red chili pepper flakes, rice powder, sweet rice powder, and powdered fermented soybeans and salt. It can be gluten free but not all brands are truly gluten free. So, double check with the manufacturer or retailer.

I looked at the ingredients list and the is soy and wheat but peanuts were not listed.
