Bought these to put on the bottom of a 3m cantilever parasol base. Screwed them into some waterproof plywood which is attached to the metal cross base. On top are the concrete weights. The castors move well and have done exactly what we wanted them to do. We can now move the parasol around to block the sun. Only time will tell on durability. We do store under cover during the winter months.

I bought two sets of four to make a pair of trolleys for moving a 400kg machine on a lino surface. No problem at all. No worries about the castors. Then I had to move a slightly heavier machine, so I bought another set of four to give one of the trolleys eight wheels. Again, I was very happy with the castors. I wanted 50mm castors so that my machines were not far off the floor. The wheels are slightly rubbery and so do compress slightly under load, but I found moving these machines was straightforward. The brakes seem to work pretty well too - stopping rotation and swivelling. On the whole - very pleased, thank you GBL.

These are great value for money. Comes with the correct screws if fixing onto wood. Very smooth making moving very easy. 2 wheels on each castor which leave no marks on hard floors. The locking mechanism works well & is easy to use. Over all a good product & I would buy again when needed.

I recently fitted the GBL Heavy Duty Castor Wheels to a couple of heavy bits of furniture, and they’ve made such a difference. They’re sturdy and handle the weight without any problems. Moving things around is now much easier—they glide smoothly, even over uneven flooring, with hardly any effort.Fitting them was straightforward, They’re well-built and feel like they’ll last for ages.All in all, I’m really pleased with these castors.
