The UURig Handheld Grip 1/4" Screw for Camera Stabilizer is an amazing addition for your action cameras, even your mirrorless micro 4/3 cameras. I purchased this for my Sony FDR X3000 as an action cam mount, and so far it's done the work I needed when it comes to long-term use and comfort. It's well built, well engineered and the comfort level is a 10 out of 10 for long uses. It has a good rubberized grip, but soft at the same time and the form is well thought out. I'm planning on buying a few more that way I don't need to constantly unscrew and screw back to another unit.The price point is a total steal for those looking to save money, but the investment is worth it for your action cameras! What I like is the fact that it's smaller in size, and you're able to maintain the grip without fear of it breaking or you losing a part. Purchased with the quick connect plate you use with your camera, works well. I use it on long hikes with a long lens. Holding it "rifle style", I can hold for long periods of time in comfort.

I recently purchased a new camcorder, and I wanted an attachable handle I could use to steady my footage. This turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The handle is not too hard or soft. It’s extremely comfortable to grip. It’s also easy to attach and detach from the camcorder. A wheel controls a threaded bit that screws into the bottom of your camera. Once it’s threaded in, the handle and camera are secure. I have no worries about it falling off. Removing the handle is easy, too. This handle has made my footage so much smoother. It’s definitely a quality purchase, and I couldn’t be happier.

Versatility

I got a very good result from my shoot with this. I used it with my Panasonic FZ80. I feel like I got a very professional look to my short film. I would definitely recommend this over a stabilizer and you can mount it to a tripod for extra convenience.
