Lessons to pass on
An excellent book. Lot of ideas to pass on to children with ADHD. The book is written from main for children with ADHD to read. Though I appreciate the approach, it is exceedingly difficult to get my child (I am assuming) or any child with ADHD to read anything that they are not 100% interested in. If you can congratulations and I am sure the children will get a lot from this.I went through the checklist with me, which he found entertaining, picking off hus own traits and trying solutions. There is a lot of information and encouragement to take from this book as a parent, carer, or teacher. The one way this book format did not work in the Kindle edition is that it is not possible to write in the book, but pen and paper are always an option, so there are no real complaints.Empathy is something that is brought up in this book. With Kelli Miller's background and family dynamic, she knows what parents, carers, and teachers need to know and hear. Believe me, parents need encouragement and to know their struggles are not unique. Lots of activities to implement and strategies to get kids to try. It's definitely worth reading.

This is brilliant
I bought this book for my ten year old as an introduction to him - that we think he could be adhd. The way this book explains what it is and the fact that you can still thrive if you have adhd traits - it’s outstanding.I wasn’t sure if my son would be interested in reading it (let alone do the tasks), day 3 and he’s chosen this again for his read before bed. He’s doing the activities too.The activities are fab in that they prepare the children for things that could crop up in day to day life. It gives them the building blocks to deal with things in a calm and more considered manner.I’m much more at ease should we get a diagnosis of adhd because of this book.Thank you to the writers.

A good guide for kids
We liked this book it was fun and interesting and made us think about ADHD in different ways. We are only in the early stages of diagnosis but books such as this really help children to understand the condition and to find ways to manage each day in different situations.

This work is fantastic and a breath of fresh air. This book is all about helping your ADHD (inattentive or hyperactive) realise just how amazing they are. It provides work to help them realise their abilities and to help them with strategies to deal with their day to day life. It shows them to regulate emotions coping skills etc. Brilliant

Good content - not dyslexia friendly
The information and activities in this book are good. However, given the huge overlap in ADHD and dyslexia I was disappointed how un-dyslexia friendly the pages were. Perhaps a dyslexia-friendly one could be released in the future.

Engaging and Effective
My 9 year old with ADHD loved working through this booklet. The strategies are solid and it taught her more about her ADHD and how to manage the difficulties it can cause. The activities are fun and engaging. A win all around!

A must for parents and kids alike
As a parent it can be difficult sometimes in the day to day chaos to remember children with ADHD don‘t function the same as those without. With this book not only did my child begin to understand themselves but as a parent it also gave insight and served as a reminder that, yes there are differences, those differences can be managed so that they are not resulting in negativity.Additionally I would highly recommend the „anger management for kids“ workbook in this series. It is an absolute must especially as many children with ADHD tend to struggle in regulating this particular emotion.
