Pure Ocean, Coarse Grain, 5 lb Bag

This is excellent quality salt. It works well in the grinders I've put it through, and I use it in just about everything. Very grindable. There's a sort of mineral aspect to the taste that you just don't get with too many other salts. The size and texture is very consistent. On a coarse setting, it can almost be used as a finishing salt.

We love this salt! I use a funnel to fill my shakers. It’s nice to be able to get 5 pounds at a time. It takes quite a while for us to use all of it.

We can never find a nice quantity of coarse salt for our salt grinder. Really pleased with this purchase all around. Good sized bag, great flavor, and a good price.

This salt is exactly what I needed for my salt grinders. I’ve tried the kosher salt from the supermarket but it’s always too fine. This salt is very coarse and is what you want if you have a salt grinder. Flavor is great and the price is right!!! Highly recommend!!!

I don’t know what the question about Flavor is about - it tastes like typical sea salt. Maybe if I were a salt connoisseur I would have a different opinion… I have a salt mill from a warehouse club that ran out of product. Shopping in that club usually costs at least $100 to get out the door and often two or three times that. Per pound, this product is cheaper than the refills at the warehouse, has a flavor I can’t tell apart, and most importantly, works just fine in my salt mill. Beyond having it chemically analyzed at a lab, which I’m not inclined to do, I can’t say that there’s anything bad about this product. It’s been about six months since I bought it and we still have a fair amount left.
