Aroma Professional AWK-3000 Surgical Grade 316 Stainless Steel Electric Water Kettle, 1.2L, White

Update, contacted Aroma’s customer service. They were very helpful and put me in contact with a technician who advised to soak bottom in distilled white vinegar overnight. Was advised that hard water even when filtered will leave residue in kettle. Gave it a shot and was shocked that bottom of kettle was as good as new. I use this kettle multiple times every day and was so relieved that it’s useable again.This Kettle works great but the bottom became oxidized beyond being able to clean or continue using. There is green scaly, flaking oxidation on bottom that comes off while using to heat water. I’ve owned this kettle for less than a year and have follow all the manufacturer's instructions of use and cleaning. I can not remove the oxidation completely while cleaning the kettle. Very disappointed given product stated it used surgical grade stainless steel.

I was SO tired of boring and quite frankly UGLY water kettles, I decided to see if there existed the possibility of something pretty. So I found this GORGEOUS Aroma Professional AWK-3000 Surgical Grade 316 Stainless Steel Electric Water Kettle about 6 months ago. Everyone who sees it absolutely loves it! Was having a little issue with it and decided to reach out to the company to see if there was something they could do since it had only been 6 months. To my delight, not only did they respond with a phone call, but they did so within only hours of my email! The gentleman I spoke to was so incredibly kind, considerate and helpful, I couldn't believe my ears! It is SO REFRESHING to deal with such delightful customer service people these days. Oh believe me, I am their customer for LIFE! and you KNOW I will spread the word! In short, they decided to send me an entire new water kettle! HOW AWESOME is THAT!!! You guys ROCK!!! Thank you so much for not only a wonderful product, but BEYOND EXCELLENT customer service!! Me HAPPY!!! ;-)

I bought the white color and it looks so elegant and unique in my kitchen. My reasons for buying this kettle was made after spending hours researching for a replacement on my current stainless steel kettle which unfortunately had some internal plastic parts despite claiming it was ALL SS. This kettle has no plastic parts touching the boiling water, not even the spout part. The unit I received had a lid that didn't quite close which caused it to take longer to boil so I returned it, but am fortunate to live in the city where the company is, so I will be picking up another new one tomorrow! It is gorgeous and all stainless steel - that include the entire inside, and even the inside of the lid and filter spout - which is a BIG positive for me. Many photo's you see of those who CLAIM to be all SS have plastic parts somewhere inside the lid or filter. This doesn't! Thank you AROMA!! FInally a company who is listening!

My first Aroma electric kettle lasted years, was perfect in evety way, but the little on/off lever finally stopped working consistently, so I bought this new one to replace it. It was great for about a month, then stopped turning off automatically at the boil. It was past the return date, so I called Amaxon, and they offered a refund or replacement. I opted to replace it, and the new one woorks perfectly, but I figured out the problem with the original was the hinged lid. It has a rather easily-damaged hinge, and doesn't open up wide enough to easily fill without accidentally pushing the lid open further than is safe, so tge lid wasn't closing tightly enough. So I fill my new one through the spout instead and simply don't open the hinged lid, problem solved.Since this is, apparently, a common problem with this model, I'm hoping Aroma will fix the problem.

Kettle works amazing have used multiple times I like the feature the power is a flick up or down to power on or off set on the kettle whereas you can pre shut off before the water is completely heated if your wanting tea not to hot. Followed all instructions for cleaning and testing prior to usage. No issues yet the color and design are beautiful. Will purchase another in my future let’s just hope this product is still an option.

I have to purchase a new kettle from a different company after only 2 years because a large amount of rust has developed along the seam of the bottom of the kettle and now the center bottom is starting to develop rust spots as well. When I contacted customer service they sent me an email with cleaning instructions. When I called the representative said I can send it in an they will see if they can remove the mineral deposits (she kept ignoring the rust issue) and if they could then I would be responsible for paying to have the item returned back to me. OF COURSE you can clean mineral deposits! Rust is unsafe and while you can take extreme measure to remove it, those measure may also affect the safety of an appliance used for heating water for consumption. If you are thinking of purchasing this product I seriously would just steer clear and go with a different brand. Read the other overwhelmingly negative reviews it has received. Don't be fooled by it's outwardly cute appearance.

Gorgeous!!!! The outside is plastic believe it or not. It honestly feels like some sort of fabric or fake leather. The plastic makes it easy to clean though, and is just as pretty. Uses quite a bit of electricity, I have to be careful not to have too many things running in the room or my fuse blows. I’m definitely in love with it. I guess I better be for the price.
