This was one of my childhood favorites and my 3 year old recently showed interest. After renting on Amazon prime I knew we had to own the physical copy. Shipping was quick and dvd works great!!

After renting the movie from prime week after week we finally broke down and purched the DVD! My daughter loves this movie and can quote the whole thing!! DVD is everything it is suppose to be.

This is an amazing movie! Watching this movie on blu-ray version is a truly magical experience. The colors are very vibrant, and the clarity is pristine. It's an wildly entertaining movie that has that mysterious, dark, imaginative quality you would find in movies such as Corpse Bride, Edward Scissor Hands, etc. This is definitely a movie for artists who have a deep appreciation for the dedication it takes to make a movie like this. Watching the behind the scenes features, you will discover that this entire movie was made by hand using stop motion animation. Stop motion has a certain quality that you just can't get out of a pixar movie. It's very organic and is really a hands on approach to 3D movies.
