Quality, efficacy and user friendly
Using it daily for 3 months. The shape is user friendly. Easy to dispense, and clean. Quality meets expectancy. Just a little heavier than aluminium. But to avoid toxicity of aluminium use any steel cooker. Go for it.

Very Good Pressure Cooker!
The media could not be loaded. Hawkins 4 Litre stainless steel pressure cooker is really good. The build quality is strong, and it cooks food quickly and evenly.I am very happy with this product and it is perfect for daily use. Great value for money!

Great brand but unexpected cooking issue
I recently purchased the Hawkins HSS50 (5L, Stainless Steel, Induction-Compatible) pressure cooker from Amazon India. The product appears high quality — shiny, sturdy, and from a trusted brand. However, I noticed a significant issue after use:While cooking arhar (toor) dal or spicy vegetables, the food started turning dark in color, even though it wasn’t burnt. Simple dishes like rice cooked perfectly, but dals and curries got discolored and their flavor changed. This suggests a possible metal reaction with acidic ingredients under high induction heat.I had high expectations from Hawkins, but this experience was disappointing. If you often cook dals or curries, this particular model may not be ideal.Recommendation: Consider a pressure cooker with full triply-body construction for safer, more reliable cooking.
