She’s a Looker!
I am writing this review right after I cooked eggs. I am a novice to cast iron, and this is my first enamel cast iron purchase. Maybe it was silly to buy such an expensive pan for my first cast iron use, but I know this brand has an amazing reputation. Before I purchased this pan, I read the reviews on here, read articles, and watched YouTube videos on how to use. I’m glad I did, because as you can see from the pics and video I posted, nothing stuck to the pan. Thank you reviewers! Preheat on low heat (6 on stove) with oil or butter for about 3 mins. Since the pan retains heat well, continue cooking on low. If I (a novice) was able to cook something in this pan the first time without any sticking, so can you! The pan is surprisingly heavy, so please be careful when lifting because you can easily hurt your wrists. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I can’t wait to cook other dishes in this stunning pan! Update 11/2/23 - I am still enjoying the pan and I cook mostly eggs and beans in it. I’ve noticed that food taste better with this pan vs. my Teflon pans. Eggs for example, is a lot more flavorful. I do not use a lot of butter and food sticks slightly, but I’ve figured out how to clean the pan properly: add hot water to the pan after cooking, soak for a few minutes, then gently scrape off the stuck bits with a wooden spoon. You can also use a scrub brush. Wipe dry after. Simple care! This is my first Le Creuset cookware piece and I am thinking of buying the signature cerise saucepan as my second piece.

Outstanding!
My wife loves this pan. Better than non stick! Better than plain iron skillets. Very durable! I intend to get her the whole range of pans.

Amazing!
Is a great pan, the first time I used I didn’t hear enough so eggs stick a little, the second time very smooth. Somehow the food tastes so much better. I was at first concern with the size because is on smaller end but end up liking it, it small but perfect to cook things individually vs smashing all together what I was doing with large pans. Cleaning is very easy, I use a regular sponge and salt for now. The cons: somehow it doesn’t look perfect, the layers are uneven, small imperfections! Pros it looks gorgeous on the stove and fun things to use/own

Great pan for glass cooktops
my wife loves cast-iron pans, but we can’t use them on the glass cooktops. She also likes to cook at high temperature and has gone through numerous nonstick pans. This enamel cast-iron pan is perfect for her and is holding up really well. The enamel bottom is not bad for the glass cooktop and she cooks at high temperature without ruining the nonstick surface.

Lots of mass = lots of even heat retention
Perfectly good, exactly what you'd expect, really. There is a tiny dot of enamel on the cooking surface but it doesn't seem to hurt the non-stick property. It is, of course, extremely heavy. But that's kind of the point, isn't it? The pouring spouts are not really necessary but they don't hurt me either so no complaints. It's a good entry‐level "buy it for life" item. Just, you know, have strong arms.

Adding to my collection
I purched 2 to replace teflon skillets. I own several other Le Creset items that I rate as 5 stars as well. Size of this skillet is what also got me to purchase 2 . Cooking with cast iron, even the coated one's, does have a learing curve. But once there your Le Creuset's will last forever. Cost can prohibitive but your buying a pan/pot for life. I am slowly growing my collection and not going back.

Everything sticks & badly
I had Le Cruset cookware as far back as 1970. Loved it!! For some reason, I no longer have it. I wanted a skillet and so I ordered one- over $100. The reason I am so upset, is that the description said no seasoning needed. So No matter what I cook, it sticks badly with or w/o grease, butter. I hate it. It is pretty, but nothing like my original skillet I didn't use the skillet for a month or two after receiving it, not ever thinking that it would be inferior, and making scrambled, or fried eggs, would be a nightmare .Food sticks so badly, that you can't get it out of the skillet. I am saddened that I trusted the product name, and seller, and trusted that it would be a functional skillet, when clearly it isnt, and so the time frame elapsed to send back. I would appreciate the seller to refund my money, and I will gladly send back the skillet.
