Superbly explained and illustrated
In every respect, this is a superb book: explanations are clear and succinct, format is highly readable (although I would prefer slightly larger font), illustrations are clearly drawn (although I would prefer slightly darker type, some slight shading, and slightly darker lines). This is a superlative value.A significant, polished, enlarged edition would make for a beautiful coffee table book (provided the written text remain as is; additional writing would defeat the purpose of relaxed repose).Highly recommended!

Beautiful, accurate illustrations of the muscles of the voice system!
This book is better than any other I have come across so far when describing the anatomy of the voice/airway. I am an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist and I use this all the time to help my patients understand what is going on and what we want to happen in their breathing. Several of my patients have been able to speed up their speech therapy or have improved in their voice lessons after they have worked in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. We must check the function of the muscles and this book helps me do just that.

Super informative book
Couldn't be more pleased with this book. It has everything I wanted: clear, clean, large diagrams and pictures. Was looking for a book that had these things so that I can show my students. It's important for them to understand how their instrument works! Great book!

A must have
If you’re a singer or a vocal coach or even if you’re an otorrinolaringologist that works with singers. Very descriptive. Vocal coaches talk about sensations but have no idea of where the sound and the confort in singing is being produced. There’s a lot of confusion and this book is very clear and has graphics to help you understand.

Very informative!
As a music teacher who never learned this as part of my degree program, I am enjoying learning about the voice. This book is easy to read and has helpful diagrams.
